Mass Effect 3: Legendary Edition (Modded)
Which one of them does this cigarette belong to?
Thanks to the LE3 Community Patch, you can set what outfit Shepard wears in the memory of re-activating Legion so it actually matches what you wore at the time in LE2, rather than it forcing you into the default Cerberus fatigues.
Oriana still looks like Mirandas' twin.
Another detail courtesy of the Community Patch: Tali's drink is now a long drink with an Emergency Induction Port, as opposed to the open glass she previously had, that made no sense in the context.

Back on Snowrunner and well through Alaska at this stage. Pondering whether I'll actually do the logging missions (on Hard Mode you have to buy a load of unique equipment and trailers can't be transported between regions) and then whether to go to Tamyr which I've done before, or move to a different, later map. Fuel costs increase as you progress ($8 a litre in some parts of Russia, was $2 in Michigan) so it will probably get a wee bit strategic with transporting fuel tankers from earlier maps.
Anyway, screenshots!
The Fleetstar and White Western Star are still doing the bulk of the work in Alaska.
Picked up the Royal BM17 in Alaska as it was my favourite truck in my previous playthrough.
But it seems underpowered here (maybe I had it upgraded to the max last time) so for the big jobs I bought a Pacific P12 And found the CAT But the revelation has been this unassuming little blighter, the International Loadstar. It's a scouting vehicle with a truck engine and always-on AWD and Diff Lock. Can just plough through everything.

Metro: Exodus
I don't think these mobile electric anomalies can be hurt, so I mostly just stayed out of their way.
In the Volga region my boat travel didn't always work out well. Here I'm standing on the prow after I did get stuck on a submerged wall for good.
The game's "hub". It was nice to see that even some of the parts outside can be traversed. And the day-night-cycle is still active as well.

Gorgeous screens ^^ I tried it on Gamepass and (probably because it was on Gamepass) didn't have the will to push through the first village. Sounds like it is well worth playing from your writeup though!
Anyway... How it Started:
How it's Going:
Full, expensive rescue operation successfully concluded, though the heavy crane driver is a bit gauche:
Woah:
Soon to be abandoned full of junk on a Ukranian battlefield.

The linear section in the beginning you mean? Yeah, in my opinion the opening is a disservice to the game. Last Light's opening felt similar in a less extreme way. It was the first stop on the train, a lakeside village? There was a bloodcurdling shriek in the distance, and then the game introduced the crafting system, I think? I found that really offputting in a shooter, gathering five nettles or foxgloves or what have you. Seems petty now, I guess. Slightly related, I cancelled Gamepass shortly after too, as the ability to dip in and out of many games didn't work for me. I guess I'm pretty rigid in my gaming routines.

I see, so directly after the first linear section. It took me a bit to recover from the first section, but the Volga region did start to reconcile me with the game. I wasn't a big fan of the crafting either, but thankfully it never got any more complicated. There are just two ressources and their main purpose seems to be to give the player something to find during exploration.

Mass Effect 3: Legendary Edition (Modded)
The Take Earth Back mod adds in various things that were cut from the final game and adds in others to represent the various war assets you've acquired, like:
Major Kirrahe and the Salarian STG ("Hold the line!")
The Zhu's Hope colonists
Depending on your actions, Quarians, Geth or both
Leviathan Enthrallment Team
Admiral Shala'Raan and a Geth Prime in a fully voiced cut conversation (Raan would normally only appear if you'd somehow been careless enough to allow Tali to die)

Perhaps not the best looking, but I have a bit of soft spot for games that let you do this... Very relaxing.

Indeed. Quite a fun MP shooter with friends. Especially considering it's on PS+.

It just got a new ending, new weapon, and new ability, so I figured I'd hop back in and finally try the photo mode, as well. Nvidia Ansel had served me well, but photo mode offers a little more razzle-dazzle. Of course, Arkane's level design is rivaled only by their interior design, so I still mostly just took pictures of chairs.
Let me know if you can't figure out what game it is; I fear I might've been too subtle.

So not really a screenshot but a more a series of screenshots moving past your eyes really fast.
This game is called Session and it's really, really, really, fucking hard so I made a video or 2 of me showing off to nice songs.

Happy 10th to Dishonored. And XCOM: Enemy Unknown as well, but I don't have any screenshots of that so I'll throw in some Dishonored DLC.

This topic reminds me how the photo sharing sites I used as a youngster are gone on behind a pay wall now.
What's the best photo upload site now?

Wouldn't know about "best", but I use imgbb.com now. When I'm using FRAPS I will usually convert them to smaller jpgs before uploading. No problems so far.

I remember people reporting the PC version was quite badly ported when it first came out, but I've had no problems with it at all, and it continues to impress me with how stunning it looks, even in comparison with the Xbox One version.

It was and there were loads of complaints when you compared it to the PS4 version which ran great on much lesser hardware. iirc it was an farmed out to a 'pc port dev' which is why it was a bit shit. Rocksteady got involved and patched the shit out of it until it ran loads better, couple that with even more improved hardware in the time between and any issues left are just bruteforced into submission. Seeing it brought back up to use a measuring stick to beat GK with is making me wanting to install it (never played it on pc but have it free thanks epic)

What? I'm just trying to fit in.
Car crashes and related mayhem are definitely among the best things this game has to offer.
Oleg does seem to have a pretty strong reaction to cars bumping into him. Just saw him stop a car short and the people being flung through the windscreen!
When he doesn't get distracted he's pretty useful in combat though.
Oh, and while there is no real reason to do so, I did still appreciate that I can ascend to the highest skyscrapers and even land there.
Got out and immediately fell down to a lower part of the roof and almost died.
Decent atmosphere up there with the wind whistling over the rooftop.
