Mass Effect: Legendary Edition (Modded)
Shiny.
You're damn right you salute, Pressly, because I'd give you the sack if I could.
Serious Faces.
Must be painful, having an assault rifle embedded in your chest like that.
Although not as much as this must be.
I'm still mystified about how they perform maintenance on this engine. If I was going to redesign the SR-1, I would have expanded the chamber width-wise, and put catwalks in on either side of the core for accessibility.
ALOV. Sharpened video sequences.
"Knock knock." "Who's there?" "Incompetently, an Elcor."
Kahoku in proper uniform.

Every custom one I've ever created has ended up looking like someone put a Commander Riker action figure in a microwave until his eyelids got melty.

And that's it for Inquisitor.
The world map. Just imagine a lot of dungeons with a lot of levels on top of the town and wilderness areas and you get a picture of why this is such an overlong game.
Arriving in the capital in Act III and getting to explore was probably one of the most enjoyable parts of the game.
The entrance to the royal palace...
... but the Archbishop's palace was honestly more impressive when it comes to the interior. Well, it's basically medieval times so that makes sense.
To the northern side of the palace we have the cathedral trying to keep up, though only the front really manages to.
Not to be outdone the Archiepiscopal dungeon also has some nice views.
The Tomb of St. Orthenius had mercy on me for once and provided me with some riddle questions as opposed to the usual 2-4 levels of combat.
One of these was very stupid, but I did appreciate the idea The game doesn't always take itself seriously.
Some of the endgame dungeons were also a little different. Mostly combat, but at least two of them were arranged a bit differently with unique art and music.

Been playing quite a bit of Snowrunner on Hard Mode. There's a lot of this:
I actually had to abandon my first attempt at Hard Mode because I ran out of money - if you can't get a tipped truck back on its feet, it costs 5000 bucks to teleport it to a garage, so it rewards a very conservative style of play. The game loses a little bit from this (less risky and therefore fun) but also benefits.
You have to become savvy and conserve fuel in various ways, eg towing multiple trailers, deploying scout vehicles without burning gas:
Finally found one of the big dogs three maps in, so it's back to map 1 to rescue stuck vehicles:
And haul the big loads:

Oh my, I've so many snowrunner pics love me some big lorry nonsense It's a fantastic game. I've been hammering it.
Here's me pushing a vehicle I'm supposed to be rescuing off a cliff because I got frustrated trying to pull it through a maze of twisty passages:
It'll be easier to pull out from down there

Fair play going for hard mode as well, love the idea as money becomes meaningless quite early on normal but the implementation of hard always looked a little too grindy & punishing for me - getting the white western star out in smithville dam I had rescues of rescues of rescues and entire tanks of gas just spent winching and craning.
Going to have to start it up again, about two thirds of the way through season 1, kinda paused when half of my russian trucks were suddenly on the news committing war crimes

Hard mode is the worst early on - once I got the P16 on Drummond Island, I found I could recover just about any situation*. That said, I had to abandon my first playthrough on Hard after about 8 hours.
And yeah, that White Western Star is hairy. I think in my Normal game I just fired a service trailer down there, fixed it up on the spot, and abandoned the trailer. This time I'm loosely following a 61-part(!!) Let's Play, which has some great tips as well as being super relaxing.
I've never progressed past the third region despite having the Year 1 pass. Dunno if I'll make it this time either.
*It then becomes a time thing, like are you willing to invest the time to drive the length of two maps just to pull out a truck etc.

Some more details, environments, action shots from Hired Gun.
Everybody in this game is agile, not least of all Doggo.
Only Orlocks use shotguns.
That's dedication to detail: Even the bullets are loyal to the Emperor

Fallout 1
As low tech and simple as it is I think the visual design and music add up to an excellent atmosphere. And the hand-crafted talking heads have tons of character despite their four or so animation frames.

Still feeling the Post-Cyberpunk Depression (clinical diagnosis pending) and haven't had the energy to start anything big or showy. Perfect time to offload some older shots of Evil Genius 2, a supposedly fun game I'll never play again.

Pity, it looks so good from the screenshots! Believe me, I wish it played as good as it looked. The photo mode is nifty, at least.

I had my fun with JC3. Ran like a quadruplegic dog on Xbox One, but still good fun overall. I dunno what the hell happened with JC4.
