I think you’re all playing a dangerous game. Alright Fred, need a cup of tea? Neck rub mate?

She was 83! Always thought of her as being young. Shows the age when I was listening to her. RIP ✌️

Yeah, growing up I always thought of her as being a peer of Whiley and Lamacq and didn’t realise for ages that she was generations ahead of them in broadcaster terms.

As long as I don’t fall for Freddie’s ‘eat that, it’s fine, sell by dates are a nonsense’
He’s one impatient reaper, drumming up business.

What freddie doesn't mention is that all that food he shoves down his gullet just rattles about inside his ribcage and then falls on the floor under his cloak.

He's actually just a salesman for the Department of Death. The cloak is all part of the pitch.

She was obviously older when I listened to her in the 80s, but I hadn't realised quite how much older than her peers. I guess she was in her late 40s whilst they were in their 20s. RIP, introduced me to a lot of great music.

First thing I thought when I saw the death announced was to say "who?" It didn't really change after I learnt who he was, I doubt many people on FG knew who he was either.

Yes we do seem to get some obscure ones.

I noticed a few years back that the BBC started reporting prominently on all sorts of minor celebrity deaths. Like you'd wake up and Radio 5 would have 10 mins dedicated to a backing vocalist from Wings or something.

He did one flying saucer tour too many and ended up being abducted for 66 years but due to spacetime distortion it was only 30 years on earth.

I bet Freddie is overjoyed that it's a leap year. One extra day of potential celeb deaths!

Its all over the chat at work from a colleague of mine whose brother is married to a reporter at a red top that Attenborough has left us
