Leslie Phillips has dinged his last dong. Mr P used to drink in my local. Would rock up in his Rolls, drink a half bottle of champagne (they only had it in the fridge for him), then potter off home. Chatted with him on occasion and he was as charming and well spoken as you would imagine, even had a game of table tennis with him once. |
