So posting the photo of Darius on stage with the fan and he is squatting down with his wang out would be frowned upon?

Did it fall out, or was it taken out?

It was just out - I hilariously, genuinely, forgot to mention that he was wearing a kilt!

Maybe that's a trade off - would you rather finger Natasha Henstridge and die at 41 or finger Cathy from Wetherspoons but die at 80?

Is Natasha Henstridge a real life succubus?

Probably not the biggest audience on here, but my wife loves Keeping Up Appearances and will be gutted about this

Would have never guessed she was 60 back in the 90s. One of those programmes that was seemingly on endless repeat here in Belgium, just like allo allo.

A celebrity to those of us of a certain age whose artwork set the tone for some mighty 8-bit mags from Newsfield...
Oli Frey has died.
A nice compilation of some artwork in Jaz Rignall's thread below. Feels as old as it is - 40 years or so, but still remember owning some of those ZZAP64 mags.

Saw that yesterday, meant to post it. I wouldn't even try and describe the thrill of getting the new copy of Crash every month to my kids. Checking for a few days, then spotting the new cover was one of the highlights of my month.

RIP Ollie. When i was a spotty, nerdy teen he was one of the few cover artists i took the time to know their name from that era of magazines. I still remember a hell of a lot of the designs, and yeah, really took me in when i was younger. I miss that style of Magazine, game and album art. I expect that's on me and there's plenty of modern pieces of similar work that i've just not found yet.

Also a big fan of Oli Frey's work on Crash as a kid, even bought the earlier edition of his artbook, although apparently they released an updated one at some point. Bought the crash annuals recently too so ahve some of his art on the free calendars.

When I was in local news, a colleague had to go to one of Mallet's art exhibitions. To nobody's surprise, he's a fucking loon.

Bill Turnbull, slightly grumpy ex-BBC Breakfast presenter, 66. Not much of an age, I don't think the show has been as good since he left.

Very sad to hear of Bill Turnball's passing. Loved him and his shows on Classic FM, we did get him back in August for a couple of weeks.
