I fucking hate school uniforms, they cost a fortune the sprogs despise them. It's the summer holiday rig-moral of ordering new stuff, my eldest has to wear a blazer next term I mean WTF, a tie, a formal shirt and now a blazer, there are so few walks in life where such attire is necessary it's ridiculous. I sort of get that a uniform is a good thing for a school but what's maybe wrong with say a polo neck and black trousers or similar, I think other counties in the UK and around the world do this. This silly setup costs a fortune, the sprogs hate it and go out of their way to wear it in such a way that its rebellious (in their eyes) and really what purpose does it serve? Keeps the stupid MF school dickheads happy other than that fuck all, bunch of cunts. And BTW if your kid is autistic then multiply this shit by ten! FFS. Anyway I have to book the fucking Clarks shoes fitting crap now. I thought the UK had some kind of price limits on school uniforms? So you could go to asda or somewhere and pick up a dirt cheap set and then just iron on a badge? Uniforms here in Japan are insane. One state school here had their uniforms designed by Armarni or some shit. They have about 30 different components, including different seasons and situations, and of course everything has to be overly expensive and higher quality than it needs to be. (when they're going to grow out of it in a year). I thought the UK was more sane. (you are in the UK, right?) The bloody elementary school backpack was over 300 quid. Plus of course we ended up spending 100s on the kit for table tennis club. (Everything always needs to be bloody pro-level, when it's just kids messing around). Anyway, 100% agreed. Give them some cheap trousers and a shirt / sweater and they're sorted. |

The onions look like they've been warmed through on the bonnet of a car.
Just some properly caramelised onions and a roll that fits the steak bake (or whatever the fuck it is) would elevate this to something appealing.

You can complain to the school and then escalate to the DFE who will presumably do f&ck all, presumably your kid would be in isolation or suspended the whole time of the complaint too 😀

Primary school required logo jumpers, generic everything else. Secondary school is mostly generic everything, aside from the tie. Blazer is optional if you wear a plain black jumper.
