Go and stand where he's having his conversations. Sooner or later, he'll stop and say something like "excuse me, this is a private conversation" and you can respond "well, fuck off somewhere private, then".

It's not Dom Joly trying to make a comeback is it?

People who go swimming and then wring their trunks out on the changing room floor, not over the drain. Cunts to a man. Obviously I say nothing, as I am British.

Aunt Alison Well that's shitty. Sounds like MS had an old save in the cloud and decided to overwrite your local save for some reason. Losing a save scares me. It once happened in Oblivion and I never played it again. It does seem that way but then I was offline when it happened so that doesn't really make sense
Fortunately the moment to moment gameplay is so good, once I'd got a couple of good drops, it wasn't too bad. Promethea is also a great location. Hopefully it doesn't happen again. Don't think I've ever lost a save like that before

Such a minor thing, but maaaan I hate that Netflix automatically skips intros when you watch more than one episode. I love that there's a Skip Intro prompt giving us the option to skip if we went, but that's only there if a show uses 2-minute long cold openings prior to the intros. Shows that just start at the intro are skipped automatically, and sometimes those are just part of the overall experience. Be it something like Game of Thrones displaying the locations and houses involved in the current episode, or just a fun song like Cowboy Bebop's Tank.

I must have played with the settings a while back because when I watched Community the other day it didn't skip intros, and it didn't autoplay the next episode either, I had to click "play next episode" at the end of each one. It was really nice to have those breaks.

Yeah, autoplay next episode is always the first thing I turn off in any streaming app. I'm perfectly capable of pressing one fucking button if I actually want to watch the next episode, thanks.
Vaguely remember seeing an article complaining about the skip intro feature (Succession's theme tune writer IIRC). They definitely shouldn't force that shit on you by default. It's a nice QoL feature, but you should have to opt in if you want it to skip every time.

I'm gonna have to hunt down the autoplay switch. It might cut down on Netflix's judgy "are you still watching this? " prompts too.

I always turn off the autoplay as well, though that's mainly in a vain attempt to stop the kids just vegging out and watching 10 episodes in a row.
I rarely want to skip titles, as I agree that it's part of the experience. GoT is a great example of that. My kids on the other hand, being of the youtube generation, don't understand the concept of title sequences, and get particularly confused by old movies that have all the credits at the beginning.

Whoever decided at Netflix to put seasons in reverse order needs slaying.
Also whoever decided to make it so that if you click “next episode” it doesn’t actually count the previous episode as complete, so if you rewatch it, it starts from the credits.
I’ve basically given up trying to rewatch season 1 and 2 of Love Death and Robots because every time an episode starts it goes to the credits, and every time an episode ends it thinks I’ve watched all the rest and decides to randomly start me on episode 1 of Working Moms.

I've yet to encounter any of this. Are you in Australia? Definitely murder worthy

The tea making supplies in this hotel room consisted of two teabags, two sugar sachets, and four tiny room-temperature milk cartons. It takes three of the milks to make a decent cup of tea. You can see why I'm annoyed now that I fancy a second cup.

What tea is provided? That has an impact on how much milk is needed imo. If it's Tetley crap, 1 is too much imo. Even Twining's needs only one and a drop more imo.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is wrong. The Internet has now served its intended purpose. Good night.

Putting milk in before the water should be a criminally punishable offence. Milk in tea in general is fine (well, unless it's earl grey or something...)

I’m clearly no expert ( ), but I’m told that the correct way to make tea with milk is to brew it in a teapot. One teaspoon of loose tea for each cup, and “one for the pot”, as my mother used to say. Then you DO put the milk into the cup before pouring the tea in, which results in a gentler mix that does not scald the milk. Apparently.

Entirely different making a cup to a pot.
You're not brewing the tea in the milk, even though you put it in the cup first.
