Got back after some time off and the temp (been there 2 years now!) made such a mess of the the shared inbox, don't think he replied to some of the customer service emails at all. its not like he is dumb, he has got a masters in data or something. Also I have ask him several times on teams about stuff

To be fair, that would have been the nice thing to do. I guarantee she still does that and it’s equally amusing for whomever experiences it. I can only hope her current bathroom has some kind of sound proofing.

I suppose interesting is a matter of perspective. It's basically been an absolute shitshow (and it's not completely over yet), but hopefully the worst is past. Some things can't ever be fixed, though.
I'm still alive, still have a job and still have the big fella, so that's enough.
Maybe I'll survive long enough that enough time will pass that it won't matter to tell the story.
