I found once you had the slabs upgraded to suit your play style, it changed everything

Personally once my Shift slab had the one where I could pause in midair and reach further along with the Nexus slab which allowed you to gain health and also spread to others, you could tear through areas quickly

My go to gun was the silenced lmp-10 with the trinkets to give it extended range, full damage over a longer range and a extended mag. It was good enough you could use headshots across the map.

A shotgun with a trinket to stop power regeneration was always handy to stop Juliana in her tracks

I also used Nexus with heal and infect others along with the extended range Shift. (Didn’t make much use of the stop in air one though as I failed to get it to work).

My auto shotgun also had the stop powers trinket. (Possibly gave it the firing faster one too).

First couple of hours of this I was a bit unsure as threw so much at you, but after that when it clicked, my word this is good.

Voice acting on Cole and Julianna is absolute top notch, have laughed out loud a good few times

Took me a while to warm to them as I felt it was a bit try hard with all the swearing. Then it started clicking and I look forward to their next conversation.

So... This game is one of those that I enjoy when I'm actually playing it, but find it hard to motivate myself to really get stuck in...

Anyway, I managed to kill my first Visionary and get her slab. But then when going for the next one I died (3 times) and lost everything. Am I right in assuming that my best option is to re-play the level to beat that first Visionary again or is there another way to carry on?

Yes. It's slighter and more combat-forward, but if you like Dishonored I have to imagine you'd at least get a kick out of it.

Just finished it this afternoon - Steam says 31 hours on the clock. I'm fucken RAGING that I didn't get to keep all the lovely trinkets and slabs on that final loop. Chuffing rolling in them I was.

Great game. Very memorable. I think I'll dive back in for some alternate endings, and to wrap up some of the armoury chains I didn't finish. Never figured out what those delivery doo-dads were for either, so clearly a lot in there that I completely missed.

Currently 16 quid on cdkeys... Tempting.

That's an absolute bargain, anyone on the fence about it should get it for that price.

Although I've gone back to finish it and the latest patch that supposedly improved the ai seems to have fucked something. Doing the enact the plan mission and basically as soon as you get spotted once the whole fucking level turns into a shitshow where you seem to get instantly spotted any time you are near the enemy. I've sacked it off now as it's pissing me off which is a shame as I was enjoying it until then.

I did a few bits before and they weren't too bad but trying to do that bit is a nightmare.

I wasn't even aware there was one, I only have 2 named weapons a pistol and a sniper. The pistol is ok but the reticle on the sniper is so busy it's hard to see the bit to aim with when you are in a fight.

Did you do the beer option?

I was doing the music and I changed it and crept to the balcony a floor or 2 up. As soon as I peeked over I was instantly spotted by every guard. It doesn't help that in my game Juliana seems to arrive as soon as you get to the party and as soon as she spots you everyone else does.

Yeah I got into the booth and changed it, the problem was when I looked down to the dancefloor, they all instantly aggro to me for some reason.
