Not like the head hits are probably going to do him much harm as he appears to be a moron already. Fuck the lot of them, I have a feeling that they're going to find out that the new government is going to be a whole lot less passive about this "protesting" than the last. Put these cunts on the Bibby Stockholm. And then sink it.

Thread about the actual people of Stockport coming together to fix what those twats did. Faith in humanity restored a bit. I mean it's still not 100%, but it's at maybe 60%.

Just adding my words to the absolute condemnation of the EDL led biggoted racists that chose to riot and attack our police force shortly after a vigil calling for solidarity and healing for families and a community devastated by the callous actions of a single individual.
You have no place in our society. Your actions are a window to your own weakness and hatred. I can only hope that you face lawful actions that exceed the vile activities you choose to partake in and that one day you might consider that your viewpoints are disgusting.
To everyone else offering support, love and understanding don't ever stop sharing love because it will always be so much stronger than hate.

I think you should have faith in humanity. Always remember that smallest people shout the loudest because they know they are dying out. Why do you think there's been such a push with the culture war bullshit because change is here, it isn't going way and the dinosaurs know it.

Comparing the tone and amount of coverage this is getting compared to when half of Leeds was on fire last week (again) would be an interesting social study for "where it all went wrong" in the not so distant future.

You are far more optimistic than me about it Jambo. I think you have to be, most people I meet in real life are decent people. Everyone has prejudices and there will always be people who want more, who can't share and try to manipulate those who feel angry about things and those that lack critical thinking skills. Honestly having cancer also changed my viewpoint about certain things for better and worse.

Is it really that surprising that the riots last night have received more media attention than the riots in Leeds the other week? Southport was already heavily in the news because of the tragic and horrific events on Monday. Kids being taken into social services isn't going to be a national news story and needs detail to know what we should be thinking about it.
The more recent riots also feed into existing stories about the rise of the far right, as well the impact of social media on how people are digesting the news and spreading information. There is a clear narrative there, from issues that are already big topics for news outlets. Also, Leeds was a local issue that escalated massively, whereas Southport riots had a bunch of people bussed in from around the country, so it becomes a story about the nation as a whole.
Lastly, we are in the Summer season, when news doesn't have much to talk about nationally, with politicians heading off on their hols. They always like to latch onto a story and run with it. Leeds took place not long after he election, so there was plenty of other news for them to talk about.
None of that is to say one is worse than the other or these pricks are bigger pricks than those pricks. I don't think you can read much more into it than how the media pick their stories and there are plenty of reasons why one would be considered a "better" story.

What I think Gray is suggesting is that the media love it when white people and then keep it quiet when brown people do.
Which is absolutely bullshit.

The Leeds thing was also a legally difficult thing because of children, their identities and the courts being involved

You said that one had more coverage than the other. One involved brown people and the other white.
Maybe make a clear point if you are trying to say something and then you won't look like a racist, especially when you are saying the exact things racists say...

As Vandelay said, I don't think the two stories are comparable once you look past the fact that both involved rioting.
Also, the idea that "half of Leeds was on fire" is a trifle exaggerated, to say the least.

The police need to go in hard and put down any of these riots, it was great seeing that far right cunt getting hit in his groin area, must of been a good shot to hit that tiny dick area. With this and the other sub-human cunts in harehills rioting and burning bus and attacking police, (the police were a bit scared to do anything there (surprised nothing happened in manchester and there was misinformation and someone had part of the video and showed the parts that fit his view)
It seems social order is getting worse as cunts in any riots think they can get away with it and the prisons are overflowing with shit

Yeah I'd appreciate you not calling me a racist due to your lack of understanding, thanks. Care to elaborate? Genuinely. There's been a massive shift in the 5-10 years from news content that informs and educates down to simply hate driven clickbait. Everyone (with at least half a brain) hates skinheads/"EDL"/whatever you want to call them. It's easy content to hate, it's easy content to push, it's guaranteed clicks. The content of story isn't "look at the riots", it becomes "look _who_ is rioting". It's no longer a story that informs or educates at that point. It's not as 'safe' hate content to push when the _who_ isn't a subject that is universally hated. My entire X feed today has been the same 10 second video re-posted in excess of 50 times. You had to go searching for any information on the Leeds riots a few weeks ago. You can't move for it today.
If you are, as you say, genuinely interested, have a look at the 'Dead Internet' theory on Youtube. Having been around the internet since the mid 90s I find it interesting that we've now past the point of no return.

The Dead Internet Theory started life on 4Chan
Bots are creating content so that the population can be controlled.
Now, while I could buy the irony of bots talking to bots. I prefer cockup over conspiracy as the cause.

It's bollocks anyway, they were both front page news on the BBC.
Social media feeds are not the judge of how news is reported.

I was interested until you went into conspiracy theory stuff. I mean also as Nick implies the there are considerable differences between what happened in Leeds to what happened yesterday, of course there's going to be waaaay more coverage.

Wouldn’t the difference with Leeds and Manchester be that people felt they had a genuine reason to be angry at the Police?
Whereas this time they’re just scumbags wanting to destroy a mosque and police get battered for standing in the way.

Whatever the reasons for what happened in Leeds (and they were very different from Stockport) it was at least local people doing what they did, not the usual EDL rentamob cunts turning up where they weren't wanted to cause trouble.
Thankfully Stephen Yaxley-Lennon had fled the country before he could have been there himself being a fucking twat.
