People always trying to use these incidents to paint the other team in a negative light while appearing to holier than thou. Christian, Muslim or whatever, the guy is clearly a nutter behaving in a way that goes against the core tenants of love thy neighbour. Unless one of the later acts in the bible talks about going around stabbing 3 year olds, never got that far reading it.
Christian White man/ also STRAIGHT white man - mental health issues, please stop politicising this, we need time to heal.
Tanned/Brown skinned man, any other religion, especially Islam - This religion is evil and we need to ban anyone following this religion from coming into our country and the whole religion needs to apologise for this event happening and if they don't it means they don't care and tactitly support whatever atrocity has happened.
I’ve been following this one since 6am- I work in central Nottingham and live in the suburbs. Feel like I need a shower after constantly refreshing Twitter for updates and seeing all the crazies jump to whatever conclusion supports their brand of bigotry.
Sounds like it might be a van running people over.
From what I can gather, a guy stabbed some people at around 4am, and then (maybe?) the same guy ran folks down in a van at around 5:30am, then was pulled from the van and tased.
That’s not the official police timeline (we don’t have one yet) but enough people are saying it that it feels the most likely
Sky seems to be in accordance- two people found dead at 4am, then a van attempted to kill three more (now in hospital) and then a third incident where someone was murdered elsewhere. Sky just beginning to use the “terrorism” angle, but 💁♂️
I was thinking that. “Terror plot foiled” would have made sense, people were saying that when they only knew about the van being stopped by police after the hit and run, but that doesn’t seem likely given the big gap between the incidents.
I’m surprised how long it’s going on. Everything that was closed-off this morning is still closed, and the place I work recommended that anyone already in the office should stay there and not travel - this was at 11am, hours after it seemed to be all over with someone in custody.
