It's very mild, but are they actually going to manage to have some bipartisan bill to introduce a few restrictions? Baby steps.
Been interesting to see some of the gun-control protests around the USA over the last few days. Kinda hard to argue with some of their signs.

I suspect that's pretty standard numbers that's only getting awareness because of the recent notorious shooting.

I keep forgetting, how's the single entrance/exit going to help when there's a shooter inside?

As the article says It's a bit nuts even for America I keep forgetting, how's the single entrance/exit going to help when there's a shooter inside? Because the good guys will have guns!

I keep forgetting, how's the single entrance/exit going to help when there's a shooter inside? Because he has to turn up at the front door and say to the armed guard there "Excuse me sir, I'm here to massacre as many people as possible, please let me in."

The more that comes out of Uvalde the worse it gets. Doors of the classroom were unlocked. Police outside in the corridor with riot shields and heavy duty weapons for an hour before entering. Texas DPS has said command prioritized the lives of officers over the kids. Which I guess was obvious but still crazy to hear acknowledged.

Perhaps they’ll implement it when they build the new school Uvalde shooting: Robb Elementary School to be demolished - mayor www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-61890558

Once again making people aware the police are not constitutionally forced to protect citizens.

Every cop at that school in Uvdale needs to do the honorable thing.
Those that don’t need to be charged as accessories to murder

Oh, I’m sure none of them will suffer any consequences for their role in the deaths of all those children

I guess the guy in charge is gonna get scapegoated (maybe fairly) as a way to avoid blaming guns.

They're just getting prepared for when Charles is King and they need to protect themselves from him entering their home.

Every ruling like that is one more step to California saying 'sod it' and going it alone.

If any state wanted to California is the best set up to go it alone. It contributes more to the US budget than any other state by some margin, over 14% and has less than 12% of the population. If it were a country it would be the 5th biggest economy in the world.

On that point, not a mass shooting just an utterly pointless one. Maybe people with rage issues shouldn't be allowed firearms?

Maybe people just shouldn't be allowed firearms unless they're going into combat or similar.
