Andrew Castle is an embarrassment Don't know how he survives in the job year after year.

3 championship points and he's still going, he's like a cockroach.

Fully deserved, just too good today apart from the blip when serving for the match.

It’s a shame seeing Nick Kyrgios commentating. I know many saw him as a w*nker but I thought he played entertaining tennis with an even more entertaining shithousing persona l. The ‘million drinks’ line will always live rent free in my head. Apparently he’s in so much pain after multiple surgeries that he doesn’t want to play again.

GAHHHH, I was writing a job application for a job I'm not even sure I want, and I totally forgot about the final. Think it's the the first Slam final I've missed in like 10 years AND it was Djokunt getting absolutely destroyed ;_;

Glad Alacaraaaath won, hoping it accelerates Novak's retirement.

Even when he was playing he didn't want to play. He's one of the most talented tennis players we've ever had, but just couldn't stop being a whiny little baby. Hopefully he can commentate as an actual grown up.

Someone absolutely butchered his haircut for the final, so that was funny.

Didn’t watch any of the competition but thought the beaten finalist Paolina looks like a wee fire cracker. Such power for a small person. 2 losing finals in a row as well.

Yeah she had a cracking second set, but was completely outplayed in the first and third. She just couldn't keep up that intensity for the whole match.

Nuts match from Dan Evans in the US open. Longest match ever there, 4-0 down in the final set and looked completely knackered, somehow came back to win 6-4.

Big opportunity to win this for Draper considering the names missing.

Still Sinner and Medvedev.
Would still be a big upset.
Million bucks for reaching semi final not bad though!

I would like Tiafoe to win if Draper can't do it.

It would be great if one of your top players was named Tim, so the reference could be renewed for a new generation. It's very selfish of them to be not named Tim.

Hope I'm wrong, but I think Sinner is doing this in 3 sets. He is absolutely different class. Draper having to absolutely play out of his skin just to vaguely stay in it.

Yeah he gave it everything. Quite literally left it all out on the court. Got better in the second set too. But, what separates the top 5 players is their ability to just keep dishing out pressure until the opponent runs out of energy. Sinner had him mostly at arms length throughout. Held serve very easily for the most part and Draper was repeatedly battling through his own service game. Brutal.

Haven't watched much of Draper though. He is legit. Good serve, some pounding strokes. He's a bit erratic at the moment, shot making needs improving because he took on some bizarre shots at times. But that can be coached. Reckon he'll be getting quarters and semis regularly in the coming years. Just whether he can find a way through Sinner, Alcaraz, Med, Ruud, etc.
