It could be the end of the match. Once that has cooled down if it’s any kind of strain or tear he won’t be able to play on. It was some scream and once he has slept on it it he might have to retire I think. Suspect the scream may have been fear - he seemed relatively comfortable afterwards.

Murray is amazing. What a guy. Yeah he is great. Top class player. Not sure where the next one is coming from , we have some decent british players but nothing of his class now or coming through in the short or medium term. I always remember someone telling me (who was involved in grass roots tennis) toward the end of the Henman era that this Andy Murray kid (who was around 15 at the time) was going to be the next big thing for british tennis. I don’t think even she could believe the heights he scaled though subsequently.

Is iPlayer playing this in UHD? Doesn't seem to on my LG CX. Is it just centre and court no 1 stuff?

Groin tear was my instant thought but he carried on relatively ok.

Bonkers shot by Ruble. I don't understand the physics of how it glides up and over the net and back down again. Such a strange trajectory.

Hoping Herbert can pull a surprise. That first serve of Hubert's is devastating. He very nearly won that second set, purely down to mentality that he lost it

Chris Eubanks beats Tsitsipas, a combination of words I never thought I’d be typing

Wow. Was kind of relying on Tsisipas to give Djokovich a good game.

I like what I’ve seen of Eubanks, having the time of his life out there. Monster of a serve on him

There’s a poster up advertising pickleball in St Albans, I thought it was a made up game for the TV show Shrinking

Rublev has given this a go, but some of Djokovich's returns wide have been amazing. Almost out of shot.

Happy that Jabeur got through and brute strength didn't win.

Pity Rune didn’t put up more of a fight. Not least because we had tickets and was all over a bit too quickly. Jabeur match was good though.

Sinner always makes me think about the scouse bloke who used to preach with a megaphone on Oxford street outside Niketown, “be a winner, don’t be a sinner”

That wasn't a terrible set by Sinner. He had a good few break points, but couldn't convert. He's not THAT far off Djokovic, but the margins are so tight. Few years time and he'll be regular at tailend of Slams.

Making Medvedev look ordinary which he isn't. Hopefully will give Djoko the runaround.
