Bugger, looks like we’re going to have a Russian win the women’s and a cunt win the men’s. Not a great year for Wimbly.

Great match. Been a very good Wimble - plenty of great matches.

Wow, the most emotionless response to winning a grand slam ever. Haha.

Good match, she deserved the win, she was much better from the start of the 2nd, never looked likely to miss out after that.

I really hope Nick wins. At least he provides entertainment, but it is like choosing between death by fire or drowning.

Decent final, but not a classic. Rybakina is going for the Terminator approach but she’s a superb player, so many shots deep in the corners.
Looking forward to seeing Novax v Kyrgios, could be a cracker under the burning sun.

Maybe if they get into a fight and both get disqualified at the same time

I feel like the only outcome I'd get excited about would be if Andy Murray teamed with Djokovic to run on and take out Kyrgios from behind with a chair.
And then when they went to shake hands he turned on Novax and gave him a Rock Bottom.

Actually, I'm not going to watch it. I need to sleep, and I'm going to be annoyed any way it turns out.

If one of them absolutely has to win, I'd rather it be Kyrgios.
Novax is just an out-and-out prick, and that's never going to change; with Kyrgios, on the other hand, there's a (vanishingly?) slim chance that his first Grand Slam win could persuade him to calm down, stop acting like a petulant knob all the time, and start his redemption arc.

I mean let's not kid ourselves, Novax is going to win. Even if he weren't a cunt, Kyrgios doesn't have the mental fortitude to come back if he starts losing. Which he will.

Ah the abused partner fallacy. "if we get married maybe then he'll calm down"
