I'd not be against Messi winning it, especially over Ronaldo and Neymar but out of the remaining I'd love to see Modric do it. Amazing player and, to my knowledge, not so much of a cunt.
Obviously Hugo doing it again would be nice, but not sure I really want France to win.

Yup, that would be awesome.
Might as well watch it, because it's going to be the last time we see either of them at a world cup again.
Also, they should put Collina on as ref. That would sort out the cheating.

I was genuinely wondering where the "cheating" comment was coming from but then lol of course. I imagine that the younger amongst you care a lot less about something that happened 36 (and 40) years ago.
Be interested to know how much of that dislike is present in those born in the mid 80s onward.

Early-mid 80s here, it honestly felt like ancient history by the time I was old enough to understand what he’d done. Although my family are Scotch and not that into football so the outrage levels weren’t especially high. |
