"Outside of the basics around which mask wearing which everyone thinks should occur apart from the Tory cunts." Are you doing this deliberately? Why the fuck do you think I should exclude the basics that everyone thinks should occur that Tory cunts aren't doing to suit your argument? Obviously we should do that because it harms no one and stops people dying. If that argument doesn't make sense to you then you are a psychopath too.

Booked my wife and I's Covid boosters today. Mine's on Friday afternoon for that added "skiving off work goodness". In other (I think unrelated) news, I've started smelling bacon all the time. Not sure what's going on there and reading about it online was "unsettling". Someone was talking about an 'orange sniffer', why not a bacon one.

Antivaxers are now getting the vaccine and the bathing in borax thinking it reverses the effects of the vaccine.
We're not gonna to make it... People I mean.

Whatever bullshit they have to do to justify getting the vaccine, I don't care. Just as long as they get it.

But even with "the basics" there will still be lots of people dying each day with C19 in the UK.

I don't think we deserve to.
Looks like Darwin was right about natural selection. Tbh, if there really are people that dense, then we're more than overdue a kool aid moment.
Borax causes nausea, vomiting, the shits and kidney failure. It's banned in food products. Can't think why they'd not want to chug it down.

Fine, you don't care about people dying. But that means your opinion about what we should do to stop people dying doesn't count.

You are the king of hyperbole!
Of course I care deeply about people dying from any horrible disease. Unfortunately though, Covid 19 is not only really transmissible but also has terrible health outcomes. It spreads in the air.
I guess the point is that even with vaccines, testing, isolation, working from home, people taking precautions...we still have nearly 200 deaths a day. I don't know where you extracted the shit bigger of "you dont care about people dying" from? Short of living with lockdown levels of restrictions there will always be a significant amount of daily deaths. As to what that number is in terms of "acceptable" everyone has their own perception. Some seem to thing that any death from this "preventable disease" is unacceptable.

I suspect our numbers might be bad in part due to our reliance on AZ in the first part of the vaccine drive.
Hopefully if we're using more Pfizer and Moderna it'll turn the tide.

I mean, if you really want an answer; Literally everything. It wasn’t one ‘there, I would do that differently’, it was death by a thousand cuts. There are literally hundreds of missteps, small and large, that got us here. A list would take all day to type.

All I am asking is what would occur differently right now - not how we made a complete cluster of it. What should happen now outside of the simple shit he tories won’t do due to not wanting to upset freedums votes. I am not sure it has come across like that.

“The simple shit the tories won’t do” is also a fairly sizable list, which is where the crux of this whole conversation has been.

Would probably start with having the PM wear a mask in a hospital when asked. Have already heard of hospital workers having more issues getting people to wear them since.

I've got chills they're multiplying. I think I'm losing control.
My wife tells me I better shape up as she needs a man...to do chores tomorrow.
Starting to feel pretty bloody awful, aches, chills and fever. Least I know this vaccines doing something. Hopefully some of what it's doing is positive.

I guess the point is that even with vaccines, testing, isolation, working from home, people taking precautions... The government are literally telling people to work at work, not bother wearing masks (see the Prime Minister not wearing one yesterday in a hospital) and not isolate with a positive lateral flow until they get it confimed with a PCR. Look at the House of Commons. Hardly any Tories wearing masks because "they know each other" (Copyright JRM). You call me the king of hyperbole but you're just flat out making things up to suit what you want to be true. Pretend it's unavoidable all you want to make yourself feel better, but you are pretending.

Nope.
This didn't hurt much going on, but hurt like hell a couple of hours later and still does.
Just had one of the worst fevers I've had in my life last night (top 3). Starting to feel better now, but I'm very weak.
I've just checked and my phone reception is no better! What's the bloody point!

The arm pain is off the immune response isn't it?

The arm pain is off the immune response isn't it? Yep. I had AZ (felt nothing and no side effects), then AZ (felt nothing but had weird pains all over the place) and then Moderna (felt it, then arm pain, swollen glands, numb face and tongue, pins and needles in my fingers, back pain, fever, chills). Apparently the moderna one has three times the active ingredients of Pfizer and it's more effective as a consequence. Feel a bit weak as a kitten today.

I'm feeling better this morning. Bit weak and achey, and I had screw all also last night, but I'll live.
I'm quite chuffed in a way, as it definitely got my immune systems interest.
