Hi to all.
I'm not an important historical EU user, they told me and I had know. I'm just a droplet in the sea what are the history of EU. But, in the last years, EU and people who write there became a little part of my web expirience. So, in this clohtes I arrive and I re-present myself.
If you like the presence of me, I'll remain with many pleasure. If not, I'll disappear from your life for even , and just a memory of a courius user will be link to my name.

Anyway, I don't think it's much of a stretch to assume they are closing the forum giving the current climate. Having people argue about pedos and Margaret Thatcher 1 click away from their content page probably wasn't too appealing to the stakeholders and sponsors in 2021. Even if under a "sub-site" header.

I am the poster formerly known as Rodimus-Prime. I probably won't post very often, but i made a vow to share a photo of myself standing on top of the tallest mountain in some particular region of Scotland with Eurogamer written in rocks, and i fully intend to keep to it. Something to look forward to at some point in 2022.
Only now i have to spell out fontgeek i suppose.

Uhm... who are you exactly? When I registered here, it said I already had an account on whatever board system it is, and when I saw the "DrStrangelove" profile I assumed that was some ancient profile of mine on this BBS. I honestly don't know who you are but I'm more than happy to reinstate my previous EG avatar. Well, lets start again then.
I thought you might be the other DrStrangelove from the eurogamer forum (the german who quit?), I joined originally (this is me btw www.eurogamer.net/profiles/Dr-Strangelove - while it still works) and he joined years later but took my name (my original user name was Dr Stranglove - ie when you could use spaces) when the new forum rules for usernames came into effect, which was a bit... annoying. But he was a good poster and warmed to him quickly so really no issue for me. The photo you chose was the (uncannily) the same as mine.
Anyway, apologies if I caused any confusion or sounded like I was being mean spirited. Not my intention.
However this is a new forum/BBS so anybody naming themselves are just going about it from today, unless I'm mistaken
Either way welcome and hopefully people won't get our names confused. No doubt we'll cross paths again, hopefully in a better way.
