And quitting on the principle that you weren’t allowed things which could be deemed unlawful by the end of this week don’t forget

Decision due today. It's a no-win situation really. Supreme Court allow it and they accelerate a repulsive policy. They rule it illegal and the far right will clamour to leave the ECHR. Sickening.

They’ll be crowing about this for ages. Claiming they beat inflation. You did bugger all, except make people’s lives ridiculously tough.
Inflation slows to 4.6% in October Price rises have eased to 4.6% in October, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
That's the lowest rate of inflation for two years.

Most of that is down to Ofgem lowering the price cap. And they'll still try and make out that prices are decreasing, not just rising more slowly.

The main UK tankie subreddit is upset by Rachel Riley again, calling her "cunt" over tweets attacking their "dear leader" makes them look like incels. Its double fun for them as she is Jewish and a woman and no doubt they have a "hate wank" as well. The thing RR was saying what we were attacking corbyn for on here yesterday
The UK tankie group are such a bunch of cunts, sadly their posts get to the front page when not logged in
One side the UK has the utter cancer that is the tories and the on the other far side you have these ultra far left/tankies/communist students that never grew up from their student days that would happily see 5 more years of tories unless you vote in the dear leader

At this point I think a lot of Conservatives will not want to focus on something which could be viewed as a win for Sunak. Rather than paying attention to actual polling, they'll believe they're the vanguard of the silent majority. Thinking that a loss at the GE will allow them to adjust the party to their values and bounce back in 4/5 years. The government will try to make this the news focus, but they've probably shot themselves in the foot with the supreme court ruling on the Rwanda scheme.

repeatedly noting that the ECHR and the Human Rights Act are not the only relevant laws, which might spike some of the attack lines from far right tories

So sending asylum seekers to a country that performs extra-judicial killings, kidnappings and other less than savoury practices is not a lawful place to send them to, who knew?

Aw, Suella - time to find a new obsession!
I'm sure there are plenty of other ways in which your blind hatred can manifest itself.

Once again, how the FUCK is this allowed? A minister is asked to do some actual work for once, so she quits her job as a news anchor and signs off with a corporate slogan?

Yeah making average people pay £500+ per month on their mortgage whilst banks pull in record profit was totally the reason inflation has dropped. Good job bank of England. Make the banks and rich people richer and make average families poor.

I must say it's truly impressive to get sacked as Home Secretary TWICE and still be an absolute colossal prick about it without a shred of humility while crowing about your own imagined successes. And remember she is also a KC. What a country we live in!

Also Simon Clarke wasn't paying any attention to the judgment, leaving the ECHR wouldn't make this policy lawful.
Tory MPs = GB News, not just that they work for it.

I don't think I'll ever be able to understand people thinking that getting rid of human rights protections is a good thing. Mind boggling stuff. I really do despair for the human race sometimes. Decent people are obviously still out there, but it feels like these cunts always shout louder and drown them out.
Is a little bit of this kind of self reflection too much to ask for?

"I spoke to several colleagues and I know six who have said to me that they’re putting letters in today, so that’s seven we now know about.
I’ve had lots of constituents contact me who are really frustrated, and actually when I put my letter in, I had hundreds of people from all over the country saying thank you for doing this.
I’ve wrestled with this, the fact that we could look very stupid toppling another leader, but I think we’ve got to bite the bullet now."
Andrea Jenkyns has had responses from "hundreds" of people, HUNDREDS.
