She gave the mandateless PM a mandate of things she has no mandate to be implementing.
It’s like poetry. It rhymes.

I can't get over this line
I've just gone through the 2019 manifesto and there is NOTHING about gender, in schools or otherwise, so point 4 is a complete fabrication. Point 2 is also not in there, nothing about boats at all. And point 3 about the Northern Ireland protocol can't have been in the 2019 manifesto because it wasn't concluded until 2020. She's just so full of shit pretending that this stuff isn't her own pet obsessions.

Aww man if he genuinely agreed to a written deal with a headbanger like Braverman that's an absolute own goal. Delightful. This is what I don't get, she had literally just resigned because she'd broken the minesterial code by passing sensitive documents. How the fuck is she in a position to be negotiating this kind of shit? Exactly! Her general rant is incredibly predictable, but Sunak being dumb enough to have that shit written down (her team were hinting they still have a copy), is just batshit. I'm still picturing Malcolm Tucker walking into the room and bollocking him for writing anything down.

Presumably, it was the price she demanded for endorsing Sunak instead of Johnson - who had just flown back from a speaking tour/holiday/whatever the fuck he does these days, intent on taking over from Truss - and Sunak the Spineless was happy, or at least willing, to pay it.
Less a "document outlining her conditions for serving as his home secretary", as the BBC puts it, and more of a "document outlining her demands in exchange for declaring herself #Ready4Rishi."

I must say it's truly impressive to get sacked as Home Secretary TWICE and still be an absolute colossal prick about it without a shred of humility while crowing about your own imagined successes.

On the bright side it has been amazing to see the Tory party tacitly admit it has nothing left. The well is dry. This is the end.

She was the Attorney General with a command of English law lower than Saul Goodman, who is not only American but fictional.

incidentally, when Suella Braverman was AG, the SG at the time was current Justice Minister Alex Chalk. Who, given he's on the left of the tory party (not saying much, I know) and facing lib dems in remain voting cheltenham with naught but a majority of, like, 4 to defend him, I'm guessing wouldn't be too upset if government lose the supreme court ruling tomorrow

I had a very scary thought and I really hope we're not in that timeline...
What if the Supreme Court votes in favour of whatever Suella is supporting? Can you imagine the sheer entitled cuntery we'll see from her? Today's letter will be less than nothing in comparison...

She’s already covered that off: So she herself admits that even if the government win they still won’t really be able to send people to Rwanda.

I can’t help thinking a far more effective anti-immigration policy would be to send people to do temping in Suella’s office rather than the comparatively cushy Rwanda.

Having gone through the 2019 manifesto it's remarkable how much of it has been completely abandoned already.
HS2 was one of the centre pieces of the whole document and that's gone, not to mention how everything from schools to hospitals are going to be swimming in investment from all the brexit money.
I'm sure we called it out at the time but it's truly a document that was made up during a massive coke bender with zero costing in it.

Pretty cool that the new environment Secretary is married to a sewage dumping water board executive I'll see your Environment Secretary and raise you:
The new Health Secretary is married to the head of British Sugar. He is also head of of the largest medicinal cannabis farm in the UK
So, no conflicts of interest there

I've heard talk of an early early Budget, which would support Spring election.

I'd hope for a spring/summer election. It isn't going to happen.
Electoral math just doesn't add up for the Tories, just go as long as possible and hope something turns up to turn their fortunes around. In the meantime, sow culture war division and put the message out that 'we're all the same, so why not vote for us?'
Bizarrely, it could end up saving the Tory party or utterly destroy it.
I hope for the latter, but then, nothing works out the way I hope.

How do you even write a resignation letter after being sacked?
Oh yeah, by having less self awareness than a crash test dummy.

You'd think that would have the opposite pressure. The longer this goes on, the more money they'll have burnt on business as usual, fighting the local and regional elections in May and all the while their big donors deciding to call it quits and try give Labour some money on the off chance.

"You can't fire me, I QUIT!" "Um, Mrs. Braverman, he... already did..." "...Well I quit ANYWAY!"
