It’s 2021 that basically doesn’t exist in my head. 2020 was the main pandemic year and 2022 was the year things got back to mostly normal. I have no idea what happened in 2021.

It baffles me how much of a sense of entitlement people came out of lockdown with. Retail workers were putting up with unjustifiable abuse before, but post-lockdown the level and frequency of it has fucking skyrocketed.

I'm happy to criticise the Tories and Boris for lots of stuff, but I doubt anyone else would have done much better/different. Well, this is kind of the point, right? You'd hope *anyone* else wouldnt have been in those various positions in the first place. Yeah, every country had their own crosses to bear but we frequently found ourselves in a crisis of our own making. We were criminally under prepared for a pandemic, our health service has absolutely no surge capacity, our government was stacked with ludicrously unqualified people who frequently avoided making any decision until it was too late.... I mean, its all there in black and white in the covid enquiry. So, yeah, I genuinely believe the opposite. I honestly believe it would be impossible to do worse unless you are actively trying to kill people. Does the remit of the COVID enquiry stretch back to be examine what happened to the pandemic preparedness planning and contingency we did have and which newly appointed Foreign Secretary’s government reduced that capacity as part of their austerity measures?

Yeah, I think that’s literally defined as article one of the inquiry.

I have no idea what happened in 2021. 20-22 is basically one year of lost time for me. I keep referring to pre-covid stuff as if it just happened but its four years ago somehow. Having a baby almost exactly a year before lockdown probably doesn’t help with the old memory there though.

Looking back on the pictures is weird. The girl started off as a child and ended it at nearly six foot. Year nine was the first full year she had at senior school. Absolutely insane when you think back to your time at secondary school. Its no wonder half of them are just freaking out.

Sunak firing Braverman - people approve, bringing back Cameron - people disapprove, making a Warhammer 40K fan Home Secretary - people shrug.

Is it wrong that my opinion of James Cleverly just shot up because he plays Sisters of Battle?

That silent majority that support Braverman are even too afraid to give their view in opinion polls. Sad.

Is it wrong that my opinion of James Cleverly just shot up because he plays Sisters of Battle? Deathwatch or Black Templar would be more indicative of zealotry for getting rid of Xenos scum. So it could be worse.

Given all the evidence and testimonies I find it hard to believe anyone could think no one else could do it better, especially when we ended up being one of the worst countries for dealing with it.

Apparently any Labour minister that backs the ceasefire amendment tomorrow are getting sacked.

I really dont understand the cameron appointment. Like properly dont understand it. I know we have joked about it but he did have another 300+ fuckwits to choose from so to contrive a way to fiddle back in a widely unpopular remainer just seems like something with not a single positive benefit.
I appreciate that its supposed to signal that the days of mentally unstable morons is behind us but Cameron is a useless cunt that literally nobody likes. Who did he think this would appeal to? It makes them look, if possible, even more incompetent.

So incredibly disrespectful with the nickname Nutsack, and so openly. There's no chance of unity, which is good news in my books.

Suella Braverman accuses Rishi Sunak of “manifestly and repeatedly” failing to deliver on key policies in scathing letter
Well, I'm shocked. Didn't see that coming.

Not only could Sunak not find anyone in the Commons to be Foreign Secretary there's plenty of Tories in the Lords he could have chosen but didn't. It's not making any more sense the longer you think about it.

He’s probably realised she’ll launch her leadership bid and he can’t outdo her on a far right platform. There’s literally no one left from the centre right that hasn’t already been in the cabinet and announced they’ll quit next year
