Sunak's face says that he knows everything Starmer is saying is true.

Was just going to post that. The silence from the benches opposite speaks volumes.

When Starmer gets his serious lawyer hat on he really looks very good at the dispatch box. Sunak certainly looked like he knew Starmer was right and all Braverman could do was smirk like she knows it too.

That video is incredible. The contrast between his look and Braverman's smugness is striking.

Wow, his body language speaks volumes. Look at his shoulders. Look at her face. Oof.

Am I crazy for thinking Armistice Day is actually quite an appropriate day to ask for a ceasefire if you want one?

Sometimes you wonder if Braverman is actually human, if you said she was some soulless monster. Most people will say, "yeah I can see that"

I think she's an evil cartoon character hiding under a rubber mask like Judge Doom but with less humanity.

I’m pretty sure there are a few 1930s-1940s Germans that would make an exception for her.

His delivery reminds me of Stewart Lee Just needs more side-eye to a camera stage left. Didn't know about Suella's mentor though. And forgot about her firing around the document scandal. Makes you remember how long the government has been poisoned.

I could make some other suggestions of what he could’ve injected himself with.

Did she not watch The Martin Lewis Money Show last night? An fuel price prediction beyond next October is pure fantasy, even the experts won’t go beyond it

The Tories are trying to gaslight (literally) everyone into thinking that more oil and gas licenses = cheaper bills, well unless they're saying there's no exporting of what's drilled then it's a complete nonsense.

As I understand it, the licenses don't even mean there will be drilling. It's just a license to look for it and most of the time they don't find anything. It's a meaningless policy that's only purpose is to wind up one group and allow another group to gloat.

Even if it doesn't lead to a single additional gram of carbon entering the atmosphere, it still sets a terrible precedent, and sends an awful message to consumers, to producers, and to the rest of the world. It's a criminal act, beyond criminal.

Perhaps this will make the Tories think
Winston Churchill’s grandson Lord Nicholas Soames says Palestine protests planned for Armistice Day “must be allowed”. Speaking on LBC, Lord Soames said: "A lot of people died during the war to assert freedom.
If you’re a Tory minister and the Churchill name is invoked and you’re on the wrong side of the line, perhaps it’s time to stop and think.

It was a rare moment of pride of having him as our MP when he made his stand against Johnson and got kicked out. Sadly the replacement is a massive bootlicker.

If you’re a Tory minister and the Churchill name is invoked and you’re on the wrong side of the line, perhaps it’s time to stop and think. And he went on to say the obvious things. One was that nearly everyone is clearly marching for peace and as with all protests there is a small minority looking for trouble. Oh and that the government know the route is no where near the memorial and that cruella is stoking divisions when her role is vitally important and should be doing the opposite. Edit. And yet still today the PM said he is holding the police chief accountable for allowing the "hate" march carry on..knowing full well it's not a hate march and that is not near anything sensitive and it's about 2-3 hours later in the day. We are in a world where even though social media etc makes the lies clear they still do it every day and still get away with it and still countless people lap up the lies as facts.

"rather like a wardrobe falling on you with the little key still in the door"
... was how someone recalled/imagined sex with soames after he was in the news for boinking his secretary in the 90s
edit: just checked, it was his ex wife who described his carnal technique
edit 2: just in case he has good libel lawyers, seems I misremembered and unlike every other Tory MP of the era, I've no evidence of him boinking his secretary. The Mirror's lawyers were happy to tell the nation he was a massive sex pest.
