She just keeps getting nastier. It's astounding how heartless she appears willing to be.

It's just wanton cruelty at this point.
I bet every new idea she has on how to make life harder still for society's most vulnerable causes her black little heart to swell with pride.
What a cunt.

The worst part is that it's always this kind of shit she's addressing, not the actual rise in crimes that we've seen recently.

She must have been bullied at school A small boat full of homeless people washed up on her school playing field and she's been fighting the good fight ever since.

Be interesting to see an update on that. Most striking thing is that it's a holistic approach that has taken long term planning and a different approach to land ownership and construction. Obvious there are savings to be had though. Braverman's plan will just increase the burden on already overwhelmed public services, whether NHS or social care etc.

Good to see "Britain's strictest teacher" is going after the most important thing affecting children's morals and values and in no way is demonstrating that she is a total and utter moron.

She's a complete cunt and an absolute headcase but even for her that's special. M&S advert making teachers' jobs harder and stifling social mobility 😂. That nuclear snowflake energy would be better directed at the gov she loves so much who have decimated the sector and with it the life chances of the disadvantaged she claims to care for.

By the time she decided it would be good for her profile they had, in fact, taken it down. Working for her most be exhausting.
‘Mrs Birbalsingh, we need to discuss budgets for the German trip’
‘Not now, Helen, can’t you see I’m writing a letter to marks and Spencers about part of an advert I saw on Twitter?’

I always got the impression that a sharp elbowed embittered version of every man for themselves is exactly the sort of thing she was into the rest of the year around?

Its a book about Trump’s government but the phrase absolutely applies to everything Braverman tries to do - the cruelty isn’t a byproduct of these policies, the cruelty is the point

Obvious there are savings to be had though. Braverman's plan will just increase the burden on already overwhelmed public services, whether NHS or social care etc. I saw recent statistics a few months ago, this was a quick Google job. But I think as a result about 75-80% of people housed, got stability in their life were in a job within one year. I can't be bothered to verify this as I'm lazy, but I did find it interesting the approach as 'house people first to give stability' rather than housing as a reward to prove you are worthy. I can actually see this appealing to the tory base though, they really don't like homeless people, even if the policies they advocate for directly lead to people being homeless. Cunts.

I think it ties very closely to her anti-protest message being framed as tackling inconvenience and unsightliness. It’ll definitely superficially appeal to a certain kind of conservative voter who doesn’t like seeing the streets cluttered with the unwanted.
Purely coincidentally, I wonder how much homelessness has increased in the last 13 years - apart from during the pandemic where we were mysteriously able to provide accommodation for them somehow.

Oh yeah the evidence has always been that homeless people have skills and things people need in society but without a residence, they can't do shit.
If I remember right, one enterprising dude basically had an agreement with a local postie that if he put his address as "The Roundabout" on X road, he'd get deliveries. Meant he was entitled to things.

Addendum - the address thing is made even more ridiculous by the amount of fake companies setting up, using innocent people's residential addresses and funnelling all their scams through it
