Playing the man not the ball can be a dangerous tactic. Worked on Corbyn The deck was stacked. Labour don’t have the benefit of the Tory press chirping their every utterance

Has anyone ever actually read Time? I thought it was one of those doctor waiting room table filler things that are just blank pages inside Fairly sure it's just a cover.

www.reddit.com/gallery/1736kioI thought the contents of this US flyer looked pretty familiar. Same 'conservative' talking points of 15-minute cities and no red meat. Get a grip, you snowflakes.

They're getting a meat tax over there too?! If this country had a meathead tax the budget deficit would be sorted.

I might’ve asked this before but what exactly is the problem with having everything you need available within a short walk from your home?

I might’ve asked this before but what exactly is the problem with having everything you need available within a short walk from your home? Are you THICK?! It means the councils can control your every move, they tell you when you drive, when to go shopping, when to have your affairs, when to go harass refugees at a local hotel, after that, well the only logical outcome is that they'll put you in a reeducation camp governed by Sadiq Khan where they'll force Sharia law on you. It's only a matter of time.

I might’ve asked this before but what exactly is the problem with having everything you need available within a short walk from your home? It depends.
In the real world: It's not a problem and actually quite useful.
In conspiracy land: They're taking your car away and trying to make you only buy vegan tofu burgers.

I might’ve asked this before but what exactly is the problem with having everything you need available within a short walk from your home? Because getting people to get in there car and travel about 5 miles to stores that are outside of town, rather than being able to walk to those stores means you use up lots of fuel. Its a win-win for everyone... well, anyone who has invested interest in oil companies. I guess it all really comes down to tapping into people's fears of government control, which have grown since the Covid lockdowns. Shouldn't really be surprised that we see Trump talking points being the same as the Tory talking points.

So sad to see this thought catching on where I live too. In an area with a fairly large/prominent jewish population people are quite happy chucking out references to brown shirts and yellow stars when talking about 15 minute neighbourhoods. Often those against are the ones that are usually posting the latest outrage about a new roundabout or god-forbid a cycle lane.

I regularly walk 2+ miles to see a friend or 10 minutes to my shop, with a backpack, to get my stuff.
Frankly, it's fucking laziness. Turn it back on them. Remind them of blitz spirit and walking to the shop to get your stuff, of supporting local businesses and knowing your butcher by name.
I'd like to see a venn diagram of people who believe this "conspiracy" and how much exercise they do.

We're lucky we have campaigners to hold the government to account, like Rickie Lambert and Leilani, 43, from Bournemouth.
