Although I guess on a low turn out.

Lib Dem making nearly half the gains Labour did is interesting. I’m not super up on what Davey’s LDs are like but a party capable of winning votes with a platform somewhere between Labour’s Soviet Communism and the Tory’s actual Nazism might actually have a calming affect on politics as some kind of liberal centre reasserts itself.
Nice to see some Greens popping up too.

It's the geographical split I think. Labour more gains in the heartlands, Lib Dems in the blue wall seats.

Can confirm, lib dems have decimated the tory wards here. Quite a sight to behold.

Surrey Heath now under Lib Dem control. Never thought that would happen. My ward was still Tory, but actually kind of close with only about 50-100 votes less for the Lib Dems.

And that's where voter ID will have an impact. One ward up north stayed blue by 2 votes. That ward gave them control overall, otherwise NOC.

Where can I see the results per ward? My district council has remained NOC, but the Conservatives lost 13 seats: 6 for the Greens, 6 for Labour, 1 for Lib Dems.

Sunak out, sunak out, who’s chipping in for a banner plane to fly above the coronation tomorrow Let's get Nigel Farage to pilot it and hope the resultant crash has the desired effect this time around.

To fully meet the most desired effect, he would need to crash it into Boris Johnson. Would pay to see that.

Perhaps into a coronation/misery party with the elite group of tossers, Truss, JRM etc.

-1,031 seats and still not over, Greg Hands should have said they'd lose all of them then he could say it wasn't as bad as expected.
Fuck you Tories!

Yes! Our district council has finally gone to lib dems. Tories have had a stranglehold on it for decades, to the chagrin of our lib dem town that they've picked on for years.
