Twat on the TV supporting Badenoch and calling himself a moderate Tory
They’ve totally lost the plot. The levels of self delusion are mind boggling.

I don't think it'll happen, but wasn't Badenoch one of the ones open to merging with Reform?
And most of the tory membership seem to be the alt-right nutters who'd probably like that. The Tory+Reform vote was almost up to the Labour vote in the election.
So.. Badenoch is shit, but ends up merging with Reform. Reform do a Tea Party and take over the Tories from within (if they haven't effectively already). Farage for Tory leader at the next election?

I wouldn't be surprised at all of there is some sort of deal between Reform and the Tories come the next election. However, I doubt it will take the form of anything as dramatic as that, where we will see Farage swoop into total power, like some beer fuelled Palpatine. More likely, there will be some backroom deals where Reform and the Tories will put in less effort where the other is more likely to win. In exchange, Tories will grant them more presence in government or just a bunch of cash (as they did with the DUP - and look how well that worked out for them!)

Christ he sounds like a right twat. There was so much to choose from. The initial spoiling his ballot with REFORM in a crossword puzzle manner was the top.

The reference to him saying that she thinks stopping the boats is cruel is pretty telling. I don't think she mentioned anything about boats, but I expect she wants to stop people getting into dinghies to cross the Channel as much as him. She just wants them to have safe and legal routes into the country whereas he wants the navy to torpedo them as they cross (or something). He can only see cruel options to stop them, because it isn't actually about stopping boats, it's about stopping refugees.

Farage would never take over. He’d have to turn up for things other than sucking off Trump or his Russian mates.

'Scuse the double post, but Ian Hislop telling Andrea Jenkyns she was talking bollocks on HIGNFY tonight was fun.

I mean, the story here is really "company that treated their employees like shit acts pathetically when called out on it".

Who the fuck booked her? She's not an MP, has no business being in public life and her only notable contribution to anything is flashing the finger at some protesters. Putting that aside She's an abject fuckwit with no redeeming characteristics that I can identify.
Ex-MPs need to fuck all the way off forever

I'd imagine it's a combination of Tim Davie demanding that they have a conservative presence, and Hislop thinking "Well if we have to, then get me someone on who's clearly too thick to be put in charge of the opening of an automatic door without notifying every emergency service, including the coast guard, who will guarantee me the opportunity to give them a verbal shoe-ing."

You would think HIGNFY would have worked out that booking these nutters on might make for a funny half hour, but leads to a whole lot more pain for everyone in the long run.
