Isn't that because he was the only one who didn't want to do stupid shit like leave the ECHR?

Because stupid people like simple answers to complex problems.

I expect Tugendhat's position is much like Sunak's; he will say that he would be willing to leave it, but wouldn't ever actually do it. Perhaps not as insane as those that actually would do it, but stupid to not realise it just emboldens the loons and shows the same kind of dangerous hubris that Cameron showed with the Brexit referendum.
Not sure if any have said it yet, but I fully expect more than one of them will pledge in their campaign for a referendum on ECHR membership to be included in their manifesto if they become leader (Braverman certainly will if she joins the race and likely Jenrick).

Imagine being an mp in the party and seeing them as the front runners. It can’t do much for their confidence or morale.

I’m genuinely surprised anyone has the gall to suggest another referendum much less for something provably idiotic.

They currently have no choice but to try to out reform reform, they will never be in power if reform beat them at that game. It's an impossible bridge to cross.

It really does warm my heart to see them like this. It's truly incredible to see how quickly the country has just moved on from them and made them what they should be; irrelevant.

And Labour just need to be competent and do something that makes immigration less of an issue somehow and then they have nothing at all. I don’t care if they fiddle the stats or do something sensible about it really.

I don’t care if they fiddle the stats or do something sensible about it really. 1)Hire more people to process claims. Possibly process in France 2) Create safe routes that stops people risking their lives, and denying the gangs the opportunity.

Processing in France, or even earlier (which I think used to happen until we made that almost impossible?) seems the easiest and most obvious solution. Everyone can stop banging on about the boats then.
I don’t care if loads of people still come here, just get those stats looking good. Maybe just call them all expats.

Anyone wanting to come to Europe should need to do a 2 year tour in Ukraine. Service means citizenship.
Do you want to know more?

Isn’t that the same idea as to cause Mexican cannon fodder in the Middle East conflicts where poorly trained and under equipped ‘soldiers’ died while trying to get US citizenship?

They currently have no choice but to try to out reform reform, they will never be in power if reform beat them at that game. It's an impossible bridge to cross. They absolutely have a choice to try go regain all those seats they lost to Labour or the Lib Dems. Yknow the main way they lost seats. They won't due to being useless cunts. But let's not pretend it's the only game theory option available.

Aw man I had her inked in if it went to the members. I don't think she'll be accepted by Reform for long. Would be a monumentally stupid move electorally anyway, they only want a blue rosette, turquoise is too exotic
