Hunt isn't that an unusual surname but it's surprising how many people mispronounce it when thinking about Jeremy.

Even BBC Breakfast hosts are calling it out making car crash interviews out of it. That was great. I saw it on the news this morning too. His face a he tried to compute what to say instead of the 'Yes.' that was the actual answer was gold.

That's probably not something Rishi has ever had to consider either.

If he calls it on March 26th it probably won't happen anyway as not one council has been granted the funding for a possible snap election in May as yet. Hence all the electoral services providers and printers have not started any prep or bought materials for it, let alone secured the additional production capacity required. With the London GLAs (3 elections) happening on 2nd May already and country wide PCC/Mayoral elections, plus some local elections it's going to be one almighty administration fuck up if he does call it on the 26th. We have been asking the cabinets office (or whatever daft acronym it is using at the moment) for months to confirm funding, but they won't.

Not sure how people can argue with that if it's on the front of a newspaper.

Oh look, it's Friday. That must mean someone I know is banging the "Starmer is just a Tory" drum.
Honestly I think they'd all be happier if Thatcher came back from the dead and did a tour of Britain, spitting at children in mining towns.

I am not a big Starmer fan, but even I know he is the only hope that the country has. The media are fucking crucifying any Labour plans now. Maybe someone should ask them, if Labour need to borrow for their plans:
A. Who have the tories borrowed of for the last fourteen years, whilst rewarding the rich? The answer is 92-93% of the UKs debt is owed to the Bank of England. It doesn’t really exist or count. B. Why do we only call Jeremy Hunt a cunt? They should all be tried in courts of laws, tarred and feathered and called cunts.

Not sure how people can argue with that if it's on the front of a newspaper. I know the Express isn’t one of his, but given Murdoch has backed the winning side in every election for over 3 decades at what point will the press start turning?

I don't pay much attention to it, but I'm sure I've seen people mention that The Sun pretty much has. Don't think they are exactly full on cheering Labour, but they aren't particularly pushing the Tories either.
The Express and Telegraph are the only ones that are still fully backing Conservatives (or, at worst, trying to push the Conservatives closer to Reform).

What is particular blood boiling is that you only see this being mentioned in a fucking YouTube channel and not every journalist when talking to cabinet ministers about this supposed mob rule.

It makes sense for Labour to start mentioning that they aren't going to be able to fix everything straight away. What doesn't make sense is the Tories' weird attack line of "we just stole you policy and spent your money - which just shows you don't have a plan (based on the situation that just changed 5 minutes ago)" It's like a big kid taking a little kid's toy and then taunting them with "You don't even have a toy!! nah nah nah!" www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-68527158

It's just a photo that's been made using a best shot setting on an iPhone. I get them not using it but they needed to be more explanatory as to why.
