Given that her father also made the link, is he explicitly calling her father "sad and wrong" too?

They had one other hit I remember that people seldom do. ‘I found true love’ or something. That really was great.

No Rishi, feeding the narrative through politics and media makes the tragedies actually happen. The fact you’ve been called out for persisting even in the wake of the Brianna headlines doesn’t give you the right to say that. You’re arse backwards and you’re like those racists who complains about it being offensive to be labelled a racist.
Furthermore you actually aren’t arsed one way or another about gender issues. You’ve weaponised it all along and you’ve just had a mirror held to you and not liked what you think we saw in it.
Anybody else subjected to his party broadcast yesterday evening? Execrable, drawing on a flip board with a sharpie in a half-zip track top you know he doesn’t own.
The best bit was that when he drew a house to represent UK families he can’t draw well and made it look like a really sad face.
I actually prefer Boris. I actually prefer Boris Johnson.

I think that's perhaps because Boris Johnson knew what he was doing (being awful), while Sunak is playing at being awful.

You do get the feeling that deep inside he knows it is not right and loathes himself, but puts that in a cupboard and carries on. Johnson was just an honest monster hedonist crossed with somebody that never stopped being a student fresher. Mark my words I have no love lost for either!

I’d like to ask Badenoch to elaborate what she meant by ‘defusing emotive lgbt issues’. I mean we all know the strength of her actions and rhetoric on the issue, at least have the conviction to accept that she legitimises the division.

He is such a coward. How hard would it have been to say 'Ive called Briannas father, you will understand I can't talk about it any further and I now consider the matter closed'?

I know I shouldn't be rising to this and I do believe you when you say you don't have time for the evil fucker but come on. "Johnson was just an honest monster hedonist" NO, NO HE WASN'T, he was and is a DISHONEST monster hedonist who wants you to think he's honest and wants you to think he's never stopped being a student fresher, come on man don't fall for his schtick even in jest

I would take twenty Sunaks and a Truss over Johnson, absolutely any day, they're less dangerous because they're useless and incompetent and transparently so, whereas Johnson is profoundly evil in the way only a supremely manipulative narcissist can be. We know Sunak and Truss won't last because they'll never win an election. Johnson is so dangerous because he somehow gets people to believe the whole nudge nudge wink wink thing and give him a free pass for being laser focused on his own enrichment and empowerment, without the smallest toss given for the national interest.

I think he was honest in the way that he is always lying. You knew everything was a lie, he knew everything was a lie. If you chose to believe him, that's on you

I don't hate him so much as the apparatus that raised him up and installed him into that position like fucking Damien Thorne. A person of his limited intellect and talents should have struggled to be a bin man much less anointed the chosen one and, at vast effort and expense, gifted the role of PM

I sometimes wonder how different the tory party cohort of MPs would look if they banned MPs from having second jobs, had to divest all business interests, and set a minimum number of parliamentary attendance days a year + minimum number of days spent in their constituency meeting constituents.

ottoIf I swap ‘honest’ for ‘obvious’ will you lay us man?! I get everything you are saying and yes his Trump x Jeeves and Wooster x Park Life cult of personality (I can’t type that without hearing Living Color) was more dangerous - it gave us Brexit for one which along with Trump was year zero for the bad times for me. I know it wasn’t obvious for those he hoodwinked but don’t worry I’m not one of them. Just on a *personal* level I can’t abide Rishi Sunak. He’s a wimp play acting as a bully and it’s pathetic. I worked with somebody like this once and I don’t like it. Again I don’t believe he gives a rat’s arse about the issues involved in this story. I really don’t think he cares about any social issues below his strata. And I hate that he uses this stuff to stir trouble *without actually giving a single f#ck about it*. No beef, I can tell this is an emotive subject, but just let me be myself 😂

This discussion is always paired with paying them more because 80 grand or whatever it is plus a second home can’t get you a quality person. Or that you want a businessperson running the country. I personally want it run like a not for profit rather than a business but what do I know, I only earn naff all. I’d suspect it’d look more like the 80s though. When exactly did the additional interests thing become common do we think?

And not having two weeks off every time there's a Bank Holiday.

Nadine Dorries raised a good point (I know) on a clip I saw earlier, saying that a lot of the low quality 2019 intake actually got a substantial pay bump when they became MPs and have taken on a lot of liabilities on the assumption that they would be in office for a long time earning decent money, explaining why they are now all either panicking and/or smearing shit on their faces to audition for new jobs in the right wing media apparatus.

Anyway, Kier's been reading the thread and has blamed the Tories.

The one thing I'm actually looking forward to with the upcoming election is Rishi having to interact with common people day in day out for weeks on end. The man can't get through the week talking to fellow rich tories without fucking everything up.

I see Penny Mordaunt has jumped into this pile of turds, offering a non-apology Dishy Rishi is to cowardly to do himself, and now demanding Kier Starmer reflects on his actions as well. What, the actions where he did nothing wrong and where the family of the girl agree with him?!
Basically, I’m going to smear you by accusing you of politicising something whilst politicising it after Rishi already politicised it. She’s the Xzibit of c*nt politricks.
You say something as the PM in the HoP, guess what, it’s ALREADY POLITICISED.
In the sea, go, off you f*ck.
I’ve no time for them. She’s thought she’s mint since she got to carry that f*cking sword round like a d*ckhead.

Braved question time for all of the 3 minutes I could stand. Political heavyweight Paddy McGuiness rightly pulled my local tory MP on the how the tories aren't exactly known for sticking to promises, namely the 350 million on the side of a bus.
His response was to claim that the NHS now does get that 350 million a week with millions more to follow. You could see Paddy absolutely seething at being lied to so brazenly.
But then it's left, straight out lies is accepted without question from the host almost like it's fact.
At least I've got confirmation that my local MP will say anything to keep his job at this point.
I've completely ran out of words to describe how much I hate the whole lot of them
