Titan Chaser seems to be a nice little mood game that I hadn't heard about until today: 1,59 €.
Edit: Darkwood is available for just 4,19 €. Lovely top-down survival horror game.

Good find.
Tbh I'm favouring GoG mostly these days, Not sure why, the illusion of ownership?

It's much less an illusion with GoG than it is with any of the other services I know, though.

They tend to be more expensive though. $GOG > $Steam > $everywhere selling steam keys
That said, I just bought SW Battlefront 2 (2005) there because hopefully having it without DRM means I can install it on both PCs and play LAN with the kids. Not sure that would work with Steam. It was double the price of a Steam key though. (Not that that was a lot in this case)
They have had a couple of decent deals this year though, that were lower than other sites.

The couple dollars more for offline installers and removed DRM is worth it in my opinion.

I certainly prefer buying old games there. Even though that's mostly just due to the kind of questionable sentiment that old games off of gog should work more reliably. In practice I usually have no clue if steam- and gog-version are different at all. It sometimes seems to be the case at least.
Very much looking forward to some good discounts for Outpost 2, the Armadas, Turok 2 and so on.

GOG touchups sometimes help, and will usually get things running without much hassle... but with old games I'm often looking for widescreen mods or texture upgrades or whatever, and sometimes working from an already modified copy actually makes that harder.
I wouldn't recommend the GOG copy for anything that relies on Steamworks or multiplayer, as they often get cut down or abandoned copies. Like the way Spelunky on GOG doesn't have the daily challenge.

Sine Mora EX is super cheap at the moment, if anyone is into horizontal shoot em ups. Not sure how many Brexits it's going for, but it's $4 on PSN and XBL, and $2 on the eShop. The latter is particularly a bargain since it usually goes for $10 more on Switch.

Yeah Sine Mora is great, I've already got it on Xbox but at that price I might double dip on Switch

The whole Dishonored series is a midweek deal on Steam.

It's an ARPG, though Avencast is a bit more movement-oriented than most of them. Lacking build-variety (basically just melee magic or ranged magic), but I liked the music and both art and effects seemed pretty good at times. Especially considering that it's made by a fairly small company. Took me about 15 hours to complete.

Shopto seem to have PSN credit even more discounted just now. Just got £50 for £41. May be worth checking out, especially with a few big games on the horizon. Horizon! See what I did there?!? Thank you. I'm here all night. Well. For the next three minutes. In fact by the time you read this I'll have fucked off.

Looks like the EGS coupon is now applied when your cart total is above 14.99 euro (last time it only worked on single games above that price).
So I just got myself Narita Boy and Manifold Garden for 5 euro.

I've just realised that's because you could only put one game into your cart before now. They seem to have implemented regional currencies now, so it's £8 off games £11.99 and above in the UK now.
I got tempted by Detroit Become Human and The Magnificent Trufflepigs.

Seconding Battle Academy, and throwing in a recommendation for Field of Glory 2 and Pike & Shot: Campaigns, which are also part of the Slitherine sale. Really good newbie-friendly wargames.

I have Pike & Shot in my cart; I hear it’s superb though it does sound/look unpromising to a newbie My big fear is that this sale presages a bundle next week, so I haven’t pulled the trigger yet (lots of the games i favourited last week in my initial burst of enthusiasm are on there). Might try a couple of DLCs for what I own already and for some of the core free games like Order of Battle. Battle of the Bulge and Drive on Moscow (originally iPad games) are also half price. I have Field of Glory 2 already as I bought it with Field of Glory Empires when that was released. Time to fire it up at last

I'm hitting the point now where new games are coming out - Distant Worlds 2, Victoria III, Gal Civ whatever - and their predecessors are sitting in my backlog, unplayed. It's a bit disorienting, not to say annoying.
I was prevented from playing Distant Worlds for the longest time because there was no font mod available, and the one it shipped with was execrable. I think there are some now (definitely one in Baconmod, but that changes gameplay) so I should really get back to that.
While I was busy serial ragequitting Trials of Fire the other day, I managed to install Victoria II and a font mod for that, so hopefully I can start making some progress here However ToF has now clicked for me so....

Edit: Other than that the Infinity Engine-games also are available for a few Euros. PST and NWN are on sale, but a bit more expensive. Divinity 2 - Developer's Cut for 1,99 € and Styx - Masters of Shadows for 1,99 € as well.
All on gog.
