I was wondering what the 8GB patch was for this week. Turned off the video after the intro as I haven't finished the game yet.
Must go back and finish this now I've got the time. Was really enjoying it then dropped it for the new Destiny 2 season for a bit.

And the one I was missing was that damn banana Pretty sure that was my last one too, very camouflaged on a big open level...

That's 100% on this game.
Still my GOTY

I might consider going back in if its a lot easier to get to 100%. I picked up a decent amount on the way through originally.

Definitely makes things easier to find.
Not sure I would have ever spotted that banana without that video or the new gadget.
Has any possible story content DLC been mentioned? Would love a reason to carry on playing.

Just finished the Casino level and although I really love the style, visuals and atmosphere, I can't help but find the gameplay a bit dull. It's just not completely clicking. Worth sticking with?

Do you find the dialogue funny and enjoyable? If not, there's probably nothing the game has to offer you.

Yeah, the writing and the visuals are what carries it. The gameplay pretty much just chugs along fairly functionally.

Thanks guys.
The visuals and dialogue are enjoyable but probably not enough to Carry it, cheers.

I have enjoyed Psychonauts 2 so much, I can overlook the fact that Jack Black is in it.

Bought for £30 using ShopTo PSN credit and the Black Friday sale.
Looks great on PS5, and it’s a really, really good game so far.
Glad they released that patch earlier this month to boost the PS5 resolution.

Thank you!
Picked up P2 recently on a deep sale looking forward to playing it.
I’ve not played the original. Should I play it first and/or am I likely to find it frustrating with aged mechanics etc or is it still highly playable? (And not too hard… I’m an old 45 gamer now… just give me an Easy mode it’ll make me and my arthritic hands happy lol)

Jumping straight into 2 is fine. It gives you a recap on the first game.
Brilliant game.

The first psychonauts is charming and has some really fun set piece levels and general world building. Its gameplay isn't always too great, and controls are a bit fiddly. I replayed a few years ago and found it well, as playable as it always was.
I don't think you absolutely need to play it before 2, but it does run on and is arguably a classic game in its own right.

Finished the game, finally. I thoroughly enjoyed it, very glad to have had something so enjoyable and well made to throw myself into for the last few days as real life has been something of a shit show of late. It lifted my spirits considerably.
Five achievements left to go, all for mopping up the collectibles and reaching rank 100, etc.
The story went to some surprisingly dark places, very well written and well handled though. Almost every character is someone I want to spend more time with (the exception being the intern Norma, who was a complete tool.)
I am going to replay the first game and see if I can finally get through the fucking Meat Circus for the first time.

Been ages since I got 100% on anything. Some of those last few figments were absolute bastards to get to.

Geez. If it's anything like the first game that's *a lot* of figments. Too many, in the case of the first game.

You get most simply by playing normally, think that was the last achievement I unlocked but it didn't feel like a chore.

Some of the ones in the PSI Kings' Sensorium were quite difficult to see due to the level being such a riot of colours.

Was that the green and yellow map? I had to use the special ability to highlight the last 2 I was looking for on that level.
