Brothers - A tale of 2 sons is free on Epic. You probably already have it or have played it, but if not you should grab it and play it cos it's great.

Always worth grabbing even if you own it elsewhere to support the devs.

I hadn't thought of that. I played it years ago and it's stuck in my mind ever since. Might get it and play it again.

The developers of the free games get a flat fee regardless of how many people redeem them:

So that means it doesn't matter at all if you claim or download them?

Cris Tales is free now on EGS. Looks like an indie JRPG for those who may be interested.

Epic have acquired Bandcamp. I'm just going to assume this means some free music every month and that they have acquired the right to put a lot more musicians' faces into Fortnite.

If they would put some musicians that *I* like into Fortnite then that would help a lot with persuading my kids to listen to decent music*!
*music that I like

It doesn't seem to show in the Amazon games app but is present via the web page for some reason. Glad it was brought up here as I'd have missed it otherwise.

Black Desert Online, the one with the stupendous character creator, is free on Steam if claimed before April 13th, to promote the new expansion. Link.
I downloaded it to play around with the character creator and see what the fuss was about, but after downloading 48gb of a 49gb install, Avira flagged something in it for quarantine and as a result Steam gave me an error message and couldn't continue the installation, so that was a complete fucking waste of time and bandwidth for me.

Amnesia: Rebirth and Riverbond are Epic's freebies this week. Postal 2 is free on GOG at the mo too (Postal 1 is also free).

Interesting choice of a freebie from GOG. They were in poor taste back then, and I somehow doubt they've aged like a fine wine...

I think it's the second or 3rd time they've given away Postal 2. It's also about the only giveaway game that I haven't nabbed.

Never heard of Riverbond, but it looks like an ok couch co-op Diablolike/Minecraft Dungeons-like. that might be fun with the kids.
Not heard of the ones for next week either.

Me neither (hearing about Riverbond before). I'm going to try it out with my neice and nephew later (unless they want to play something else). He likes Minecraft Dungeons so I'm hoping it'll appeal.

Riverbond went down well. We played the 1st stage and boss co-op 3-player and they thought it was cute and fun. They liked trying the different skins that you unlock. Seems like a light breezy adventure/hack'em up/twin stick shooter and was fun enough. Has the age old problem of 3 people sharing a single screen that doesn't split or zoom out though, which works fine when you're all in tandem but not so good if you get split up or when an individual wants to go exploring or rush ahead.

I was excited until I read 'Enemy Territory'. Surely it must be dead?
