Great result but we really need to improve our finishing. 25 shots on goal, 13 on target, 4 goals. That’s not good enough really

2+ goals a game in 15 consecutive at home for the first time since 2000 as well. Great to have that excitement back at OT.
If we can stop shitting the load away in the league we’ll be in great shape next year.

It's cause Wout doesn't appear to want to be a striker despite playing there. So many times a ball goes across the goal and he's not there. Where the fuck is he?

Just stuck in traffic coming back from United. Really started feeling the cold by about the 70th minute!
I think Pellistri should get a lot of credit tonight, get him out more. Pleased for Weghorst obviously but it looked a lot of the time like he actually s*it's it when he gets the ball - through on goal and he passed it AWB instead of shooting. I'm hoping he gets a mental boost from it. You could see he was desparate for a second but time was running out.
Speaking of, AWB was the change that was needed there, bringing him on was transformative IMO.
De Gea, no idea what planet he was on tonight. Just punt the ball out instead of passing it in and around your own box and setting up lots of very dangerous situations. We were lucky not to be punished for it more in the first half. In general we were not great in that half and still in the shadow of that drubbing psychologically. Fred was a bit of a clumsy mess tonight, actually one of my favourites but that wasn't great.
Hope yet remains anyway and a great night out.

Bit weird from Ten Haag to bring up Arsenal in a Europa League presser but maybe the question was specifically about us:
I'd be surprised if he genuinely hadn't noticed Zinchenko, Jesus, Nketiah and Smith Rowe each missing chunks of the season, or even Partey missing several matches, most significantly the loss at Old Trafford.

We've been all over the place tonight, very poor. Thought the ref started the game well, not blowing for soft fouls. Then Pellestri gets booked for nothing and he starts blowing for everything.
Some key players looking very tired.

The guy gets a weird free pass from a lot United fans, when he is comfortably the worst player on the pitch in 90% of games he plays in. Admittedly he can be very good in the other 10% but he is nowhere near good enough |
