Fucking love this team, fought so hard for that win in the 2nd half. ETH got the changes spot on. Fred had his most Fred game ever from woeful to warrior. The defence were amazing.
I don't know how you can't love Bruno as a Utd fan. He's even cut out the lying on the floor when the other team are attacking. But he gives his all and his energy is non stop each game. Plus the numbers and chances he creates each game.

That's our best 45 minutes post-Fergie for me. It had everything. Amazing performance, just amazing.
Ten Hag has dramatically changed more games after half time in half a season than our last 4 managers combined. We've hit the jackpot with this guy.

TBH, even with Fergie (especially during the latter years) we would have sat deep and tried to hit on the counter, if you remember the 2008 CL semi, we did that over two legs and narrowly came out on top.
This is different, we came out to play and were actually a better team.
Still a quadruple on...

I dont think they were very good in either game against us and we made it too hard for ourselves with 3 poor goals given away. Where as Real absolutely nuked Liverpool the other day. They have only conceded 7 goals in the league yet we got 4 against them in 2 games and their defence shits itself any time it's attacked.

It's definitely not from bribing refs, their fans on reddit say so. - Great performance last night in the second half after a wobbly first. I've been privileged to see some great centre back pairings at United, but Varane (no surprises there) and Martinez are up there with them. Fred turning into Rivaldo in the second half was a nice surprise. Ten Hag's change of tactics at half time was spot on and they had no way of dealing with the pace of Sancho, Antony and Rashford. Good times, bring on Newcastle. |

I only saw bits of the match as I was commuting and the signal was shit. But a great win. Would have been disappointing to not go through after I thought we battered them at the Nou Camp, but thankfully did enough. What a time for Fred's first right footed shot that didn't go into row Z!

I’d be happy with the europa and league cup this season. Winning trophies breeds success for hopefully the premier league next season.
Really starting to feel a bit special this team.
Also Casemiro is unrivalled as a defensive midfielder he contributes so much in defense and going forward

So do we actually want to go through in this? I can't make up my mind whether it would be better to keep momentum or better to lose the added games and travel. Edging towards the latter at present. If we weren't already down to our fourth choice striker I'd be more bullish.
Very interested to see the team selection. If any first-teamers play and pick up a knock it would be maddening. I really think we have to give minutes to everyone who needs it and not worry too much about the result. I'd like to see Kiwior make his debut, Smith Rowe get some much-needed fitness and Nelson to get a full 90mins in the Saka role.
