It's honestly unbelievable to me how Mendilibar took up a struggling team, lost 1-4 to Maccabi, GOT the contract extension immediately after and went to win 1-6 on the repeat, get past Fener with three saved penalties (edit: from Tzolakis, it bears mentioning his name), thrash Aston Villa 6-2 total and go on to win it!!!
