You can skip Adella if you don't want to collect her gesture and/or the buff from her blood. You will need Arianna though for that last umbilical chord. Here's a video showing you where to go to find her: Just remember that once you've killed Rom you can no longer rescue anyone else! Right. Nice one for this. I'll check it out later when I boot it up. I wonder why rom is linked to the npcs

Killing Rom brings about the Blood Moon. At this point, all survivors still to be rescued either become beasts (such as Gilbert in Central Yarnham - though technically you can't rescue him anyway) or are considered dead.
If you exhaust the Blind Chapel Dweller's dialogue after this point he remarks that nobody else could still be alive now to save.
In other words, it's one of those bullshit locks FromSoft put on completing quests if you progress too far.

Got it, and thanks for the info. If the effect of 3 beers have had effect on me tonight combined with the other beers at home I'm going to have now, then there's absolutely no chance.
But you never know!

I think she just dies if you keep asking her for sedatives- the implication being that she got herself killed while getting them

So you killed her with your greed I didn't even ask her for any! She just popped her clogs while I was out.

Wait... Did you invite the guy from the woods to the chapel?
The guy covered in blood and standing over the corpses of two other people when you find him?
That guy??
If the answer is "yes", then you need to kill him ASAP as he'll kill everyone in the chapel, one by one, while you're away.
For future reference, he's the only one you should ALWAYS send to the clinic!

And there is the guy that doesn't trust you and will go to the opposite place you tell him to go. You should tell him to go to the clinic, so that he goes to the chapel.

Has anyone got the hardback anniversary edition book at all? I pre-ordered from Amazon and it's sat in limbo with no delivery date currently. Publication date says sept 11th on the page but nothing yet.

If that's the Futurepress book this is fairly standard practice. The release dates always get fucked about. The Elden Ring books have been a nightmare.

Same with Elden Ring's volume III, actually.

That would be a nice delivery if both turn up together as I also have Elden Ring V3 on order too.

I thought that suspicious goes to isoefka and beggar men does the opposite so send him to oedon to get rid of then both? That's right isn't it? As for the woods, I've met tonsil man but I honestly can't remember sending him anywhere. I've fucked it, haven't I?

He thinks you are lying, so will go to the opposite place you tell him to go.

He thinks you are lying, so will go to the opposite place you tell him to go. I'll have to go back to Ariannas location then and see if the twat is still there. I've only just sent Arianna to oedon so I might fire it up and just do some npc work to see where I'm at with everyone. It's bad enough I can't remember where to go, never mind herding these bellends about

You can also attack the man in the woods for a fight instead of sending him to the clinic

For one thing, it combines both the main game and Old Hunters DLC books into one volume. Other than that, they do mention some extra bits on the product page, but I don't know how significant they are.

I'm definitely confused about the guy in the woods. Because I have the tonsil stone, but that was from a guy behind a closed door. So fuck knows who I've met and who i haven't tbh

It looks exactly the same as the one I have and am using as a guide at the moment tbh

Not sure of differences but I missed the book first time round and when this was revealed I thought I would jump in. Already have first two Elden Ring books and love the quality so had to be done.

So fuck knows who I've met and who i haven't tbh Nah, you should still be ok just yet. The tonsil stone comes from a strange interaction. There's a number of windows around with people inside you can't rescue, only talk to. Once you reach the woods, one of those windows will be randomly chosen for the usual voice to be replaced by Patches' voice, who'll give you the tonsil stone (this makes sense, because Patches worships Amygdala and wishes for you to 'meet' her). Once you have the stone, if you revisit the area Patches will be gone and the original occupant of the building will have returned. The survivor you absolutely DO NOT WANT at the chapel is the Suspicious Beggar - he'll be nice to your face, but when your back is turned he'll gradually murder every other survivor you've rescued. bloodborne.wiki.fextralife.com/Suspicious+Beggar

That makes more sense, thanks for that.
What I'm thinking is, I must have done something out of order, otherwise why is the old woman dead in oedon?

It is that twat that's at oedon. I remember from the dialogue now. TITS!

If he's only killed the old woman then all you're missing out on is a few sedatives (she dies if you take too many, anyway). You can kill him safely. If he transforms, run through the door so he gets stuck and just cheese him with poison knives: 3 will poison him, wait for the poison to wear off and repeat. 9 knives max. Or just smack his arse

Question though, I only sent him here quite recently and I haven't killed another boss since, and I thought he only killed an npc after you'd killed another boss?

That was my understanding as well, but maybe his first trigger is a boss you've already killed? I actually don't really know how it works to be honest.
