Does that basically mean Russia can't access Crimea by land? They can but only the long way round through occupied Ukrainian territories. If the next phase of the Ukrainian counter offensive is to cut south to the coast then Crimea will potentially be totally cut off from Russia. |

Doesn’t look like a truck I think they're saying that purely on the basis of the CCTV footage where you see a truck as the explosion happens, I think the trucker was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Also saying it's a truck bomb makes it sound more like something terrorists do than an organised army. |

I've seen some comments that amount to "is that the best you can do?" aimed at Putin. As horrific as it is to see your city demolished, the bottom line is there are relatively few casualties and Ukraine has pushed Russia into showing its hand, somewhat.
