I think I'd be as surprised as anyone. Whilst my day job involves metaphorically smashing up money tables and I've spent some time on both charitable endeavours and talking to homeless people, the only water into wine trick I know involves thinking "well, fuck this" before taking a trip to the shop, and I can't swim in anything that isn't the Dead Sea,* let alone walk on the stuff. I enjoy supper?
*not that I swam in that either, the salt makes you effectively blind/doing that Father Ted face in the racism episode if you aren't extremely cautious so I stayed at nipple height.

The bloody English, 30 degrees isn't even hot.
It's pleasant.
The 20-30 degree bracket is the sweet spot of weather and seeing as it's going to take 12 hours for the ribs and brisket to cook you can cool off in the pool while you wait. Come dinner time it's a very comfortable mid 20's and entirely enjoyable to all sit outside around a table getting eaten by mosquitos.
This is why we are seriously considering a move to the tropics, cold can fuck right off.

Mid-20s is starting to get uncomfortable.
The sweet spot is around 19-21 degrees. From a personal enjoyment point of of view it never needs to get hotter than that.
Currently about 15 degrees here and it's quite nice, early evening yesterday it was up to about 23 though and that feels like stay in shade territory.
Fucking hate hot weather.

I wear different clothes when abroad as well - it makes a huge difference as to why I can cope in Greece with 40 and suffer in the UK over 20, but for some reason wearing shorts in the UK makes me feel like a schoolboy and the weather is rarely good enough all day to stick with light clothing anyway.
