Yeah that main event opener was crazy. I love the respect they showed each other at the end too.
Agree the scores on the Rose fight were dodgy. I thought Lee probably won.

Gaethje went easy on Chandler at the end of the 3rd round. He could have easily knocked him out and he knew it, but he let Chandler have his bit with the amazing spinning kick session.

Was indeed a great card. From Barnett's HW knockout all through to the end. Nice fights and finishes. Gaethje/Chandler was as advertised, very fun, I thought Zhang won, even though it was a close fight.
When I first saw that picture of Frankie I thought it was an edit.

Holloway fighting today, another great one to watch I think the card is on at a reasonable time too but I'm not sure

Why would you not have Max fighting in front of a full crowd?

Great punches by Woodson

Woodson looked good but Bisping calling him Dhalsim was the real highlight

Gruelling fight. Was really impressed with Yair. I thought Max would be giving us a repeat of his Kattar performance, it was anything but. Usually you see Max get loose and have fun in the Octagon. There was none of that, was an atypical Max performance since I'm so used to seeing him melt fighters with pressure. The takedowns were a good adjustment

What's next for Max though? He's lost to Volkanovski twice but also keeps beating the people below him. Do Alex and Max just keep fighting each other until they die?
Also I don't really like ref bashing, but Herb messed up in the co-main. I don't know what he was thinking.

It's weird, Max is really good, but a lot of that is down to how well we can take a shot. A bit like Nate he's able to just absorb everything thrown at him and keep smothering everyone. I just wonder how sustainable that is for him now, particularly after taking so much damage in this fight.

Do Alex and Max just keep fighting each other until they die? I'd watch it. Takes the judges out of it too to fight to the death. Lukus It is something to be careful with for Max. Maybe it was down to Yair and the leg kicks, but he looked a tad slower to me in this fight as well.

He looked massively drained and gaunt in the weigh in too. I know he always does, but it seems like such a taxing weight cut. There's got to be a limit to the amount of times you can go through that without the toll it takes outweighing the advantages.

That's true too, they showed an interview he did after the weigh ins and as well as looking drained, his voice was distorted
I would like to see him get the belt back if I'm honest. Think he needs to bulk up properly to 155 if he wants to move there.

Main card was pretty solid last night. Pretty much every fight worth watching. baihu1983 I've no idea how that got sanctioned. Pulev's only losses in Boxing are AJ and Klitschko so how on earth he got matched up with Mir I don't know

Kind of thought that's how it might go but didn't put anything down. Was routing for Dustin though.

Oh and the Pena Nunez fight, I feel like Nunez let pride takeover thinking she could just stand and bang like that, technique and movement out the window.

The Pena fight fucked me out of 400 quid on my bet. Agree that she had too much pride or just too cocky.
I like Dustin, but he's not good enough on the ground against someone like Charles.

Only a small bet for me. Won £50 on Charles to win via Sub and Neal and O'Malley to win.
