Does Johnny Knoxville count as a legend? Maybe David Arquette as well.

After watching his documentary I’d pop for Arquette

Feel bad for Big E. Another guy given nothing once he won the title and he promoted it and the company more than anyone else has in recent years. Hopefully he gets another run later this year and actually has some proper feuds.
But Brock vs Lashley finally going 1 vs 1 should be awesome. Just hope they aren't going to do a title vs title at WM with him and Reigns.

Yeah, I don’t think anyone has done more to generate goodwill for the WWE than New Day the last few years and they’ve been given nothing for it

Catching up with the rest of Dark Side of the Ring and every episode is basically the Jim Ross Regret Hour

Khan mentioning a dream signing is coming to AEW this year. Could it be Johnny Wrestling?! Nah he said a dream signing. I really don't rate Gargano at all even though he's a great wrestler I can't buy into him. Always tricky when someone says "dream signing" as it sets expectations too high. I mean, could it be someone like Ibushi or Osprey? Keith Lee, Braun and Bray are all still homeless and all 3 are big names. To me a dream signing would be KO or Zayn or AJ that kind of thing but they're all locked into WWE still. Or could it be a non wrestler like Bret Hart for example?

I think he fits the mould of AEW though. I mean he just needs to be let loose on his creativity, as he has the toolset. I mean look at AJ Styles. He was never great on the mic in TNA, yet went over to Japan and gained a tonne of confidence in himself to become a bigger star. I think Johnny could also be that guy.

I don’t think Gargano would be a dream signing for AEW considering how many smaller technical guys they’ve already got who are bigger stars. He’d be solid enough but we’re already starting to see the roster settling so if you were a middling guy in WWE you’re landing near the middle of AEW after your initial debut. Gargano is good but I’d put money on it being a big Japanese talent. Someone “new” to American audiences, perhaps even a run with Okada.

Rapey Rick? Can't see it myself post Dark Side of the Ring.
NJPW has been so in the gutter the last year or so I wouldn't be surprised if someone was eager to have a couple of years working in America.
Okada with US Pro Wrestling production values? Yes fucking please. Okada Vs Danielson.....hnghhhhhhg

AEW is going to get bloated quickly. It will need to split into two brands before long.

AEW is going to get bloated quickly. It will need to split into two brands before long. But don't a lot of the roster work with other companies as well? I read somewhere that Khan likes to ensure that there's never the same match twice in quick succession. I honestly don't see the harm in adding more talent to the roster, especially experienced ones.. and with AEW Dark and Elevation, there's plenty of platforms for them.

Can see it setting up Darby v Andrade with Sting and Flair facing off.

AEW is going to get bloated quickly. It will need to split into two brands before long. The roster is so big across the four shows already. There are folk who’ve been there since day one who can’t even get on tv anymore. Letting guys work elsewhere is fine but there’s bound to be discontent eventually.

But do you want to see Joey Janela? And Sonny Kiss?

I always enjoy Joey Janela matches, I think him having a short run as a heel TNT champion would be pretty entertaining.
But he's probably getting released soon once his contract is up, along with Sonny. They should have probably stayed together as a tag.

Time for some Royal Rumble predictions - mine is that WWE celebrates Cesaro's 10th anniversary with the company by throwing him over the top rope 29 times.

Bron Breakker will win the Rumble. Then he'll botch a Shooting Star Press at Mania.

I’m predicting Bronn going to the final three or four.
I would also pop out of my shoes if one of the surprise appearances put him eye to eye with Big Poppa Pump

Big Poppa Pump needs a full time gig somewhere. We're worse off not having his promos.

Rumble must be the limit of the roster without filling it with chumps. Bet the Rock wins it.

Thinking it will be Owen or Seth now.

Sounds like there’s a clear out backstage at NXT and the PC after all the recent talent releases. Scotty Too Hotty has quit and Road Dogg on his way too.

Yeah Scotty started wrestling again a little while back.
Sadly Regal is gone.

Sacking Regal is pretty major considering how much influence he's had backstage over the years. Is there anyone left apart from marketing department?

Regal, Road Dogg, Scotty, Burch, Thatcher, Ace Steel, Ryan Katz, Dave Kapoor.
Basically if you were one of Hunter’s guys then you’re out.

I was thinking that, it's like they're trying to remove every last bit of Hunters DNA from the brand. Kinda think Vince holds it against him that AEW took the "IWC Crown" from NXT and has consequently reverted to type and gone more old school in his booking than usual
