I started out as a very young kid with a hand-me-down Timex Snoopy: Then progressed to one of these bad boys by the end of Primary School (because of course an 11 year old needs to know the time in Madagascar at any given moment): But by my mid-late teens I was all about that Indiglo: Very handy for gigs and nightclubs, I might add. Shame I don't have any of these anymore. I imagine that Snoopy watch is quite collectible these days.

Zyrr Haha, my first watch was Snoopy too but with the rotating Red Barron & clouds, there's one on Vinted £380 but that's taking the mick, they seem to go for about £70 on ebay.

If you fancy grabbing a very large sample pack in one go the Samples From Mars Complete Collection is still on its Black Friday deal. They do the discount every year, and I grabbed it a couple of years back, plus a cheap upgrade to top it up last year. Every classic drum machine you can think of and then a load of sampled instruments on top. All sampled with lots of different variations. It's a staggering amount of content and would be a great compliment to the EP-133. Only downside is choice paralysis!

deez - that looks cool as fuck. I want one too even though I need to stop kidding myself about my musical talents. Got a Ableton push 2 controller recently that I haven't even gotten around to trying out.

Those sample packs are ideal for Ableton too, all setup as instrument or drum racks and great for messing about with.
Ableton is a bit scary at first, partly because again there is too much choice and it's hard to know where to start. Going through the tutorials slowly and just making noise is the best way I think. I haven't really progressed past that, never really save projects, and certainly not made anything I would share. I have fun just making sounds when I have the time, but the problem is finding it, and by the time I get back to it, I've forgotten loads again.

Very tempted to try this, shame that the price of olive oil at the moment makes this quite an expensive option.

How did you get on with it? Sounds like there's a bit of a QC issue with the first batch (fader not working seems to be a common flaw) I'll probably buy one when they've ironed out the kinks.

Mine works perfectly, I've seen all the fadergate reports but no issues for me. It's a lovely bit of kit and the battery powered portability means it's great for a little play during work or on the sofa. I'm far from figuring it all out though. My wife keeps likening me to Ross Geller and his keyboard.

Yeah, watched a couple of videos earlier and 20 hours on a few AA batteries sounds pretty handy. I've signed up for stock notifications now anyways
