Oh I don't mind a settings advantage as skill overcomes that. I'm talking about the assholes that use engine owning and other cheats for wall hacks and aimbots. They completely ruin cross play shooters now and that's coming from someone that does most of his gaming on a pc.

I have heroquest upstairs, patiently waiting for my kids to be a bit older. The playing board from the original is one of the few memories I have of my childhood. You can try Karak. It's a dungeon crawler for children, and I know a family who played it with a 5 year old and they loved it. |

Stupid gaming practices. So this is out Monday but if you buy the premium edition you get to play on Thursday. So the game is ready Thursday so just release it then and not have a small portion of the player base play it, complete it and post shit about it online before it’s actual release.
Imagine movies doing it. You get to see the new alien 5 days early if you pay double for your seat. Or an album comes out a week early if you by the deluxe vinyl.

Yeah I won’t have anything spoilt and it’s not like I’m playing it for the story I just think if it’s ready on Thursday release it for everyone. Just money grabbing bs that most publishers do. At least there are no micro transactions. Apparently there will be paid cosmetic dlc packs but that’s it.

I was briefly considering the deluxe for the early access but the season pass is just cosmetics. I’ve no interest in paying 20-odd quid extra for that, I’ll just wait.

But the genestealers are just ripoffs of Xenomorphs. Then again, Space Hulk was just a ripoff of Aliens, and GoW is just a ripoff of 40k, so... hang on, I've lost my train of thought.

It's a global simultaneous release, no one outside of NZ on Xbox is "flying" to Auckland.

If you install the Xbox app on your phone you can queue up the install for any game you want regardless of actually owning it. Very handy if you've ordered a disc copy and want to get it preloaded and ready to go. |

Install the game before the disc turns up, pop the disc in when it does and you can start playing. Be nice if PlayStation allowed this too.
