It's an interesting one, more specifically the paying forum users money which I can imagine is for any scoops or stuff that you post that gets used for news sites I imagine. I'm intrigued to see how that's going to work, unless this is a Web3.0 concept.

EG was very community led and community forward until they were bought out by a monolith corp. So at least Rauper (who is on this forum btw) has some sound credentials in building that kind of space. I don’t think it’s Web 3.0 nonsense.

Signed up to info on this quite a while ago, as it sounded like it could be interesting, although not sure what it is actually going to look like.
Hearing that the person organising it has the style and taste to frequent these halls has me deeply concerned...
I've signed up for the alpha though. Hopefully get invited to take a peek.

Forgot I had received my invite a few days ago. Set it up and had a look. Seems quite nice and like that it is a platform that doesn't discourage posting posts with actual length to them. Honestly, just feels like an updated version of a forum (which is good).
Not sure how to go to other communities at the moment, if you can yet. Just seems to be a single list of posts under the "Just About" community, but maybe I'm missing something. The "Discover" section has four options (gaming, tech, TV and films) but clicking those just says coming soon.
