Maybe. That zoom out with the territory regions (and it being Paradox) definitely suggested some kind of grand strategy though.

Yeah, looks incredible, but gameplay seemed a bit flat. I do like the movement and looks like an emphasis on verticality, which is always a positive. Combat just seemed spongey.

I'm honestly stunned about that one. Death Stranding 2's absence was less surprising - Geoff knows that letting Kojima out of the basement is risky in case he tries to escape again, plus it almost certainly isn't due out until 2024 at the earliest - and Shadow of the Erdtree was wishful thinking as much as anything else.
No Phantom Liberty, though? As Vandelay said, it's supposed to come out this year; moreover, CDPR was meant to be a 'partner' for Summer Game Fest. It's really odd. |
