After multiple recommendations from friends and family I've just bought 3 months supply of Lions Mane Tablets (mushroom extract) and have started taking it today. Apparently it reduces likely hood of heart disease, reduces likely hood of alzheimer's, increases mood, increase awareness and other benefits too. Anybody else taking them of have any other Natural wonders to recommend?
I'll report back in a week...

It cost a tenner for 3 months supply, no known side effects so I thought why not.
Several people have told me they have felt noticeably more alert with improved mood after a week.
99% most likely bullshit I know, but I'll pay a tenner just in case their is some truth in it :-)

It’s apparently mostly ground up rice. They cultivate the mushroom on rice, but don’t really bother to separate it for the supplement.

I can't speak for Lion's Mane, but microdosing small amounts of psychedelics (LSD, psilocybin) has been shown to have cognitive and mood benefits (mostly anecdotal). By microdose I mean 1/10 to 1/20th of a normal "tripping" dose. I think there is also a protocol that involves some amount of psilocybin, some Lion's Mane, and a third ingredient I cant recall. It's called the Stamet's protocol after a mycology expert. |
