Jaws: The Revenge. The first movie is a masterpiece; Jaws 2 was a passable 'more of the same, but not nearly as good' rehash; the third one was pretty bad, although it at least tried to do something different with the whole Sea World aspect. The fourth one, though? Jesus trampolining Christ, it was terrible. There's one where the wife has some psychic connection with the shark, it's so fucking stupid. Was that 3 or 4? I think it's got Michael Caine in it...

I have a thing for watching low budget horror, and some are absolute rubbish. But will give them a slight pass as they are often low budget amateur fare.
I had an ex that brought me to some absolute stinkers. In particular Made of Honour and Sex and the City movie. Terrible.
Of recent stuff, the latest Saw movie Spiral was absolutely horrible. Think they tried to bring it back to the roots of the original or something, but it was just boring as hell.

He missed getting an Oscar to film that. To quote the man himself; 'I have never seen it but by all accounts it is terrible. However, I have seen the house that it built and it is terrific'

Obviously not the worst but I'd struggle to think of a film a dislike more than Alien Covenant.
The Lovely Bones always comes to mind too. Fucking mawkish drivel.

I believe that the novelisation of the film has reference to voodoo and that the family were cursed by a voodoo practioner to be endlessly hunted by this shark. Some of that was in the film where there was some sort of connection but the voodoo aspect obviously wasn't in there. God it was stupid.

Also seen an interview with Caine where he said something along the lines of reading the Jaws script and noticing it was in the Carribbean, so he agreed to it partly as it would be a holiday.

I remember going to see Prometheus on the day it came out, and left the cinema thinking it was a massive disappointment.
But it was nowhere near as bad as whenever Covenant promised to make everything right, and was miles worse. I'd even grown to like Prometheus, and Covenant even managed to ruin that too!

Yup, that's Jaws: The Revenge (the fourth and final movie in the series).

The bar seems pretty low already with the majority of recent horror movies, but Insidious 2 was utter utter wank. I genuinely can't think of a single thing I liked about it.

Legend of Chun-Li
Just absolutely nothing enjoyable about it.

There are a lot of choices on here that I didn’t mind at the time and probably wouldn’t mind again, because at least stuff happens. Take The Happening for example, a stupid film with a ridiculous premise that was very (unintentionally) funny in places.
My worst film ever is The Virgin Suicides. Can’t remember why I watched it, I think it was a Blockbuster hire when I had nothing better to do, so sunk cost fallacy may have been at play. It was just so, so dull, my God it was dull. Give me a shit film with half decent special effects and a horror or sci-fi plot over a low budget one that’s trying to be artsy and meaningful any day.
Edit- to be fair it has an un-telegraphed twist ending that M Knight Shyalaman would be proud of, but after 90 minutes of absolutely bugger all happening it was more farcical than poignant

wunty You are dead to me mate
I don't usually remember bad films; once I watch them and realise they are shit, I tend to forget them instantly. Two notable exceptions: "Highlander 2" (which I actually walked out of the cinema at the intermission) and a film called "The Bridge of San Luis Rey", a stellar cast (including Gabriel Byrne, Robert De Niro, Harvey Keitel, Kathy Bates among others) but the most incoherent plot I've ever watched!

I’ve remembered another bad one
I went to the cinema to watch The Delinquents when I was about 15 as I heard that you get a glimpse of Kylie Minogue’s tit
I think it was a terrible film as I actually fell asleep watching it

JonFEOh shit, I'd forgotten about Highlander 2. I mean I knew it must exist as Highlander 3: The Sorcerer exists. But 2 is very, very, very bad.

JonFE Oh shit, I'd forgotten about Highlander 2. I mean I knew it must exist as Highlander 3: The Sorcerer exists. But 2 is very, very, very bad. Worst thing is, at the time I was really invested in the whole Highlander lore, immortal warriors fighting with swords throughout the centuries trying to kill each other by decapitation so in the end there can be only one etc. and here comes the long-awaited sequel with its lame aliens excuse and I'm like "Really? That's the best you could come up with?!? Fuck this shit, I'm out!!!"

Pearl Harbour
I've only seen the first 30mins but those were so awful I had to stop. It was beyond boring, beyond amusingly bad and actually started making me angry.

The Thin Red Line. More like the long boring line. Actually, its not true. That film made me feel something. Can't remember if I've shared this already, but the second worst film I've ever seen is the Nic Cage film about disasters (Next, it might be called). I've accidentally seen that three times not realising that I've seen it before because it is so nothingy. But the worst one I've seen I cannot remember the name, the actors or the plot of. We watched it during a 24 hour movie marathon and it was so lacking in substance that none of the participants can recall anything about it. At all. Its not even that it was bad, it was just null. We all have a collective 2 hour black hole during that time period, and we've spent ages agonising over what it might have been.

Oh shit, I forgot about Terminator Genysis or whatever the fuck dumb spelling it uses. That genuinely probably is the worst film I've seen, at least in terms of some kind of budget:franchise:quality ratio rating.

None of you seem to have ever watched a legitimately bad movie.
Try this one for some context, it's actually better than most of the ones I was thinking about posting.
