Yeah, as a Browns fan he/we got off lightly the skeezy fucker, NFL can still appeal. Though having just implemented the independent mediator process it would be all kinds of wrong for Goodell to circumvent that to slap a seasons ban on him instead. But this is the fucked up NFL we are talking about. Watsons contract has been manipulated so that this year he is paid less so he loses less, and the Browns first 6 games are the soft part of our schedule, so I dunno. Not a good look wherever you are standing. |

Dolphins lose draft picks and Stephen Ross suspended and fined for tapping up Brady (twice!) and Sean Peyton. Ross also found to have talked to Brian Flores about tanking - but Dolphins cleared of (intentionally 😁) doing so.
The man is a constant embarrassment of an owner.

Sex perv update. The Browns starting offence with Watson were atrocious against the Jags. Didn't have our full lineup but still. Other stuff happened, but it's preseason and nobody gives a shit.
Right now his lawyers are in a kangaroo court trying to bargain the NFL down from whatever penalty they think makes them look like they really care.

Wish they had taken it to court, the NFL is bent. Having said that should have been at least a season, he's a wrong un.
I have been following the Browns since before he was born and always will do, nobody is bigger than the team.

Think my mistake was looking at a Wk1 schedule, not realising it changed on Sun. Thought it was strange that no highlights of the Rams/Bills had shown up on my Newpipe feed, but oh well.
Can make up for it this week (and works out better with a late shift Mon).
