Davies has never really reached his potential. Its amazing how many games he's had for his age too. Chuffed with a solid comeback draw. Rondon (from what I saw as I'm working) is not going to cut it.

I think the general play today was much much better, some nice triangles, some good moves. Certainly much better than Wednesday but a terrible result.
Fred just showed why you can't trust him, apart from 2 brain farts at about 20 minutes he was really good until the goal. It's unforgivably poor play from him that's lost is the game.

I think you're missing my main point in that his poorest piece of play was so poor that you can't justify him in there anyway.
But I'll answer; he was full of energy, linked play well from the base of midfield. Played quick passes into the forwards, wide players and full backs. As I said he had two brain farts around 20 minutes where he fluffed easy 5 yard passes but aside apart from that up to the goal he did his job well.

Have thought for a while that Potter would be a solid choice as Arteta's replacement. Might upgrade that to the best realistic choice now.
Brighton are playing how we want to be playing, an effective team press and then great movement when they win it.
We're defending pretty well, but we'll be lucky to get a draw at this rate.
