The French have a saying, “in April don’t put away your clothes, but in May you can do what you want”
Sounds shit in English but in the original tongue it’s quite beautiful

It was great weather for zero carbon energy production, a lot of the day wind and solar was doing over 60% of all electricity production while gas was less than 3.
However it wasn't great for actually walking about today for me, I'm not sure if the Sahara had dumped a load of dust on Southern England recently but I seemed to be getting a fair amount grit in my face.

For the past week or so we've had the same weather as the Witcher 3. Sunny periods but with dark clouds, sprinkly showers and winds howlin'.
I like it a lot.

Pissing down, heating on, put my winter jumpers away, got them out again.
So WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON! And it's May next week... ✌️

Heh, it's pooling somewhere as it still occasionally drips internally in the cavity, even now. Hopefully they can find the origins.

Northern lights overhead tonight. Hardly visible to the eye but looked great through a camera

Woken up to lots of friends posting incredible pictures of the Northern lights from round here. Gutted I missed it as was knackered after long walk
Fingers crossed it’s visible tonight. Might try a night walk or wait until the street lighting is turned off.
Everyone’s photos look superb

Seen some good pics but only if they used various night mode filters, couldn't see shit with the naked eye myself.

You could see a faint outline of something in the sky. I used night mode and then pissed about with the Pro Settings and used a 8 second shot to really get the colours to pop. All of our neighbours were taking pics outside near midnight, was quite nice.

Seen some good pics but only if they used various night mode filters, couldn't see shit with the naked eye myself. Here’s mine. They do really pop through a camera but, being semi-rural, I was surprised how bright they were with the naked eye. Like you definitely would have noticed them if you didn’t already know. These were taken pretty much bang on midnight.
